Telangana Police officers Association has recently conducted a press meet to warn Telugu filmmakers to not sue degrading titles and scenes in the films.

The association has even forced successful producer Dil Raju to change the title of dubbed version of Vijay’s recent release ‘Theri’. Just a day prior to the release, ‘Policeodu’ title was changed to ‘Police’.

Now, they have targeted actor Srikanth’s upcoming film titled ‘Mental Police’. Following the complaint of Telangana Police association, the High Court has sent a legal notice to the makers of Mental Police asking them to change the title. Makers are now looking for alternative titles.

Mental Police makers have recently released the trailer and in one scene, the actor was seen sitting on the road with a garland of chappals to his neck.

Hero Srikanth’s new film under Anagani films banner gets title and it is “Mental Police”. Aksha is heroine opposite Srikanth in the movie. The shooting of the movie is currently progressing in Hyderabad. The film has completed its first shooting schedule in Vijayawada and now second schedule is going on. After Operation Duryodhana, Srikanth once again playing the powerful police role in the film.

The movie is being directed by Karanam P Babji (Srinu) and AVV Durga Prasad is the producer.
