The popular director turned actor SJ Suryah is a well-known person to the Tollywood audiences as well. He directed films like Kushi, Nani and Komarum Puli. Later, as an actor, he appeared as a villain in Mahesh Babu’s Spyder. Now, he is coming up with an interesting film in Tamil.

Titled as Monster, this movie’s trailer was released a couple of days ago. Going by it, the film looks like a story between a man and a rat. Just like Eega. There, a fly troubles the villain whereas here, SJ Surya is troubled by a rat. This is the first time, he attempted this kind of funny role.

The trailer has been getting a decent response from the audience and the makers are planning to release it in summer as kids can also enjoy the movie in the theatres. We have to see how far will it help Suryah’s career as an actor.

AR Murugadoss is introducing Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu to the Tamil audiences with his latest bilingual Telugu-Tamil much awaited film ‘Spyder’. Recently, the makers released a theatrical trailer which received mixed reviews from the audience. The director is taking no chances with its release in Tamil Nadu.

A record number of theaters will screen this spy thriller drama on opening day. According to the latest update, Spyder will hit as many as 450 screens across Tamil Nadu on opening day.

The film is touted to be a high-budget, high-tech action thriller. The confrontation scenes between Mahesh Babu and SJ Suryah is said to be the major highlight of Murugadoss’s film. It has also come out that Spyder has a strong emotional along with an action sequence which is going to stand out in the film.

Mahesh is essaying an intelligence officer and will be seen romancing with Rakul Preet Singh. Spyder is all about how he will save a city from catastrophe.

It is being produced by NV Prasad under the banner NVR Cinemas and has the music by Harris Jayaraj. The Tamil version of Spyder will also hit the screens on 27th September 2017 along with the Telugu version in the Telugu states. Both versions will hit the overseas markets too simultaneously.

Mersal means to be stunned by a beauty of something or someone, and we have to say that after watching the teaser of Vijay’s upcoming film, well the title is most appropriate. He plays three different roles, and the teaser highlights two of them with stark differences in looks, attitude, and landscape. From international opera house, where one of the magician performs for a crowd to the rural stage with people crowding to see their local hero perform, the teaser is accentuated with differences.

One has to appreciate the dialogue that is featured in the trailer, which uttered by Ilayathalapathy Vijay renders audience speechless with the intensity of which it is said. The dialogue is, “Nee Pattra Vaitha Neruppu ondru, pattri eriya unnai ketkum. Nee Vidhaita vinai ellam, unnai arruka kaathirukkum.” It means, ‘the fire that you set will seek for you to be on fire, the karma that you have sowed is waiting to slice you.’

AR Rahman’s background score is surely going to give this film an extra oomph factor. The film is slated to release for Diwali, and we cannot wait to see Vijay light of the screen up with his magical presence.

The movie is bankrolled by Thenandal Films, and also stars SJ Suryah, Sathyaraj, Vadivelu and Kovai Sarala. Interestingly, it looks like K. V. Vijayendra Prasad, who is the man behind the screenplay for the box office success Baahubali series has also contributed to this film.

The yet-to-be-titled film is said to be the love story of a faction leader, and Pawan will play the role of a faction leader. His leading lady has not been finalized yet. The Muhurat shot was done today. Gowtham Raju switched on the Camera while Director SJ Suryah directed the first shot.

SJ Suryah and noted writer Akula Siva have worked on the script for the past four months and have prepared an entertaining story filled with action and romance.

Anup Rubens is scoring the music. He has already composed two songs it is heard. Gowtham Raju is the film’s editor with Bramha Kadali working as the art director. Ram-Lakshman will compose the fights.

Actually the movie supposed to hit the floors on April 29 but the muhurat of Pawan Kalyan’s new movie was advanced to avoid a clash with Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie, which is scheduled to be launched on April 29 at 1.30 pm in Chiru’s old house.

Pawan Kalyan and SJ Suryah earlier worked for the blockbuster “Kushi” , which was released on April 27 in 2001. Now the sequel of this movie launched on the same date.
