Gorgeous actress Shruti Haasan has finally unveiled a new song to celebrate the spirit of women, on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The song titled ‘My Day In The Sun’ released on Apple’s iTunes earlier today and Shruti has been receiving rave reviews for her work.

While Shruti has written and sung the song, she had collaborated with music directors, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonca to compose music for the song. The song, which Shruti sang in English, talks about the women’s power to dream and her never-say-die attitude.

In a recent media interaction, Shruti said, “The song doesn’t just focus on Indian women. It’s about every woman, from various sections of the society, waiting for her day in the sun and rise, to have wings again and be want they want to be. In a way, it’s got more to do with women being the best version of themselves, rather than someone else oppressing them.”

But, the song is not available for a free download anywhere. It is actually being distributed by Apple Music, and the song is being charged 15 rupees for a download. Let us see how many will actually show interest to spend 15 rupees to download this song?

Impressed by their approach and responsibility, Shruti Hassan agreed to do and completed the filming. The department officials are planning to telecast this film in theaters, T.V and important junctions of Chennai and Tamil Nadu.

The Fire Department after the filming thanked Shruti Hassan for adjusting some time out of her busy schedule and advertising for this social awareness program.

Superstar Mahesh Babu is currently busy shooting for his new film upcoming film ‘Brahmotsavam’. He is talked of doing his next with ace director A.R.Murugadoos. This film will be made in both Tamil and Telugu simultaneously.

Although Shruti Haasan is under consideration for this film, Murugadoss is heard to be keen on roping in Bollywood beauty Alia Bhatt opposite Mahesh. If the short beauty allots dates for Mahesh, the film will get attention from Hindi film industry as well.

It is expected that this film will roll from April 2016. This film is said to be a high octane action entertainer while the story deals with issues regarding Indian judiciary system. It will be made on whopping Rs 80 Crore budget by Thirupathi Prasad in Telugu and Tamil.

Style Star Allu Arjun, who made an on stage presence on Race Gurram audio function recently, made a blunder while talking. He accidentally used a swearing word while talking about his co star Shruti Hassan, immediately showing a gesture of regret by biting his tongue and laughing it away.

It all happened when Arjun was talking about Shruti, who despite being a star kid, works so hard to make a career of her own. The words in Telugu precisely went this way – “neekendhuku superstar koothuru..nee amma happy ga shopping..” and immediately a sense of realization creeping in on Arjun’s face. Shruti Hassan was not present for the audio launch.
