Former Nadigar Sangam president R. Sarathkumar and former general secretary Radha Ravi have been permanently removed from the South Indian Artistes’ Association (Nadigar Sangam). At the annual general body meeting of the Nadigar Sangam on November 25th, general secretary Vishal announced that both were being removed from the primary membership itself.

This decision was approved by the majority of the 2,000-odd members who attended the meeting from different parts of Tamil Nadu and neighboring States. Speaking at the Annual General Meeting, Vishal asked the members if the Nadigar Sangam must take action against Sarathkumar and Radha Ravi.

Hearing unanimous approval from the crowd, he said, “It is not our intention to take a confrontational stance, but this needs to be done.”

He then announced the permanent exclusion of both the members. After the decision, Radhika fired on Vishal’s statement via her Twitter account.

Actor Sarath Kumar has been hospitalized today, and he admitted at Apollo Hospital in Chennai. Many rumors were surfacing on the media regarding his health, but there is nothing serious about his health. The reports reveal that he was hospitalized after he complained about chest pain but later it was confirmed that it is just a food poison. “Do not believe the false news that is spreading. Sarath is fine! Just down with food poisoning and a muscle spasm [sic],” Radhika tweeted on the micro-blogging site.

Soon after the news about Sarath Kumar getting hospitalized broke out, many fans have worried about his health condition. He was recently in the news for losing the general assembly and the Nadigar Sangam elections. As of now, there is nothing to worry about his health and he will be getting back to normal life soon.
