Going by the latest reports from Bollywood, we have come to know that Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju beat Prabhas’ Baahubali 2 in Australia. The film became the third highest grossing Hindi film and very soon the movie will be having a release in China.

Informing the collections of the film, the trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “This is MASSIVE… #Sanju crosses *lifetime biz* of #Baahubali2 [Hindi] in AUSTRALIA… Now THIRD HIGHEST GROSSING *Hindi* film.” He also added the top five movies collections in the country. The following is the list.

Sanju is also doing well at the Indian box office. The latest buzz reveals that the film is already inching closer to Dangal’s total of Rs 380 crore and above in India. Directed by Raju Hirani, the film is produced by Vidu Vinod Chopra.

Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju starring Ranbir Kapoor came out as the biopic of Sanjay Dutt and is creating sensations at the box office. Everything went well until Gangster Abu Salem who is currently serving his prison time after being convicted in the Mumbai blast case sent legal notices to the makers alleging defamation. However, Abu Salem is now screaming out a different story. He sent a notice to the makers of Sanju including Rajkumar Hirani, Vinod Kumar etc that they should publicly apologize him for insulting and degrading him and delete the scenes in 15days. After getting caught in the case of Mumbai blasts, Abu Salem is punished to be imprisoned for a lifetime which is already known to everyone. We have to wait and see what the makers are going to do about this issue.

Trishala is said to be upset for the reason that her mother was shown inappropriately in the film. Because of this, she is said to be upset with the makers.

Sanjay married Richa Sharma in October 1987. Later, he married Riya Pillai in 1998 but they divorced later due to several reasons. In 2008, Sanjay married Manyatha.

Even though it is a non-holiday / working-day time, the film Sanju did wonders at the box office with the reduced ticket rates on weekdays. The Ranbir Kapoor starrer has put a magnum total on the fourth day. The film looks unstoppable in all the areas that it released. The film’s collection in the first weekend is, Fri 34.75 cr, Sat 38.60 cr, Sun 46.71 cr.

The movie has collected 25.35 cr on Monday and with this, the total has gone up to ₹ 145.41 cr. India biz. Even though it is too early to predict the lifetime collections of the movie, there are reports that the film will surpass Raju Hirani’s highest grosser PK. The second-week collections will play crucial for the movie.

“When Raj approached me, I thought what’s so interesting in Sanjay Dutt’s life but once he narrated the story to me, I realized the struggles that he underwent in his life. There are many truths that we depicted in the film. Later, I felt Ranveer Singh would be the right choice for the film but Sanjay said that Ranbir will be a perfect choice. After we started the shoot, I realized that Ranbir is a great performer.” said Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

The film is set to be released on 29 June 2018.
