Is Shruti Haasan blaming others for her own shortcomings? We don’t know. But, that is what senior actress Khusboo says about the Haasan girl. Shruti Haasan chose to walk out of the magnum opus ‘Sangamithra’ which is touted to be the biggest ever Indian film made, till date. Khusboo lashed out on Shruti Haasan, calling her as unprofessional for walking out of the project, giving lame reasons.

For a big project like this, it can’t be done without proper planning. So, the script is totally ready but the pre-production work needs a lot of time as 70% of the work on such films is done before the shooting. Khushboo said she expected professionalism from Shruti who carries a legacy (Kamal Haasan’s legacy).

The senior actress didn’t mention Shruti Haasan’s name. However, she made it too obvious for us to guess. Kushboo’s husband director C Sunder is going to helm the project. Jayam Ravi, who is the playing the male lead is preparing himself to bulk up for the role he is going to essay in this film.

After the exit of multi-talented actress Shruti Haasan from big budget movie Sangamithra, the makers seems to have intensified their search for her replacement in the film. It is heard that the team is in talks with Nayantara, but they are highly likely to finalize the deal with Nayantara.

It is heard that the makers offered a whopping amount to her and asked to give 2 years of call sheet for this big budget flick. Sangamithra is a period drama set in the 8th century AD and is about a queen’s struggles to protect her kingdom.

Jayam Ravi and Arya are set to play the lead role and they have been undergoing rigorous training in horse riding, physical combat and other weapon based martial arts training. Even though there is no official confirmation regarding Nayantara’s casting, she will certainly be a great choice to play the role of princess.

Helmed by Sundar C and produced by Sri Thenandal Films, Sangamithra has been billed as one of the biggest projects of South India.

‘Jayam’ Ravi is said to have given two full years for director Sundar C , something which not many frontline heroes would do, for the shoot of his upcoming film titled as Sangamithra, a period type venture which also has Arya as the other hero.

To be made in Tamil and to be dubbed later in Telugu and Hindi for simultaneous release, the shoot of Sangamithra hasn’t yet commenced. Shruti Haasan recently opted out of the offer to play the title role in the film accusing the makers of not showing her the script. Names of Nayantara, Anushka, and Hansika, are cited as possible replacements though Sundar C hasn’t yet finalized his crew members.

The period-type venture is to be produced at a whopping cost by Sri Thenandal Films. It turns out that Ravi has given call-sheet to star in the film continuously for the next two years. It is for this particular reason that many frontline heroes didn’t take up the role which Ravi eventually took up.

Baahubali has been a prestigious film on the Indian screen so far, and the makers are pretty much happy with the way the things have been progressing around the film. Meanwhile, Sunder C in Tamil is also planning a similar kind of film now. The buzz is that the film has been titled as Sangamitra and the film is being made with a budget close to RS 200 crore rupees. The film initially had Shruti Haasan in the female lead role, but she walked out of the movie now even before the regular shoot of the film started.

The reason that Shruti has given is that she is not interested in working on a project which does not have a proper bound script and which does not have the clarity of the exact shooting dates. As a result, multiple rumors started floating on the film. The producers have commented on Shruti comments saying that she is not telling the truth and they have readied the script long back. But they are respecting her decision of walking out of the project.
