Anushka, Rana Daggubati and Allu Arjun starrer stereoscopic historic film Rudhramadevi has collected an overall of 60 crores and got listed into the movies that collected 60crores or more than it.

Gunashekar directorial Rudhramadevi was made on a huge budget of 80crores and was also released in 3D version. With going through a lot of postponements, Rudhramadevi was released on 9th of October.

This film after its release on the eve of Dussera started gaining positive reviews in all the languages it was dubbed. Gona Ganna Reddy played by Allu Arjun was appreciated for his terrific screen presence.

Even though it faced some competition with Ram Charan’s “Bruce Lee,” “Rudhramadevi” managed slowly to collect the invested amount. Director Gunasekhar produced this film under the banner of Guna arts.

Anushka Shetty, who played the Deva Sena role in “Baahubali, ” played the title role in this film. Prakash Raj, Krishnam Raju, Catherine, Nithya Menon were also seen in some special characters in this historic film.

Music Maestro Ilayaraja composed music for this film while Mega Star Chiranjeevi lent his voice.

With including overall collections, Rudhramadevi minted 60crores, says trade pundits.

In the success meet that was held yesterday, distributor Dil Raju assured that he will be producing “Prataparudrudu” if Gunasekhar brings up the story.

“Rudhramadevi” made Telugu people and audience proud, happy with the success of the film, said Rudhramadevi team. A success meet was conducted last night, where the team was present and spoke about the success of Rudhramadevi. Allu Arjun, Anushka, Dil Raju and Gunasekhar spoke in the press meet.

Allu Arjun: Many said that my character (Gona Ganna Reddy) was the highlight of the whole film. But, for me it was Anusha’s. The real hero of this film is, was and will be Anushka. My hard work was just a month while Anusha’s was three long years.

Anushka: The core reason behind “Rudhramadevi” was Gunasekhar. This team and family went through a lot while making this film. Writer Thota Prasad was with me the whole time while I was in the shooting. He explained me every dialogue that I uttered in the film. I feel this film is my lifetime achievement.

Dil Raju: In 2009 “Magadheera” and “Arundhati” were released and made all us proud of Telugu cinema. Now once again in 2015 “Baahubali” and “Rudhramadevi” made us cherish that experience. I am ready to produce “Prathaparudrudu” once Gunasekhar completes the script part.

Gunasekhar: I got a lot of support for “Rudhramadevi.” I thank Allu Arjun my whole life for doing this role. Anushka was the only choice for me for the title role, and she proved that my choice was right. At last I found a producer for “Prathaparudrudu.”

After speaking about “Rudhramadevi” director, Gunasekhar was left in tears with the movie success.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun, who did a commendable role in Rudhramadevi as Gona Ganna Reddy, took up the responsibility of clarifying the issue over “Bruce Lee” release affecting “Rudhramadevi” collections.

Allu Arjun in his Twitter account posted that “It is not fair to blame producer or some other for not moving ‘Bruce Lee’ release date by a week” since “Rudhramadevi” released last week and “Bruce Lee” releasing this week, collections would affect both the films.

He further stated that “Bruce Lee release date was announced on the very first day of its shooting. They decided to release it on 16^th of October. ‘Rudhramadevi’ was supposed to release on 4^th September, which they couldn’t for many reasons.”

Arjun also clarified that “Knowing the release date of ‘Bruce Lee,’ the producer of ‘Rudhramadevi’ released it on 9^th of October with a hope that both films can cash simultaneously in the festival season.”

That how’s Allu Arjun clarified the issue of these two films clash. ‘Rudhramadevi’ was made on a huge budget on 80 Crores while ‘Bruce Lee’ was produced with 40 Crores. Since ‘Rudhramadevi’ is a heroine oriented film, few people in the industry urged to postpone ‘Bruce Lee’ release by a week.

What to be noted is that Dasari Narayana Ra watched ‘Rudhramadevi’ on Monday and commented that there should be a minimum of two weeks of gap between two films indirectly targeting Ram Charan’s “Bruce Lee.” Allu Arjun gave the clarification after Dasari’s comments.

Rudhramadevi is collecting handsome at the box-office. At the end of Sunday, Rudhramadevi is reported of collecting Rs 32 Crores.

According to cine pundit Trinath, this movie is expected of collecting much more at the box-office. Since dubbed into Hindi, market crossed the borders and running well in all the languages especially in overseas.

Being first of its kind with First Stereoscopic 3D Historic Film, Rudhramadevi advance bookings were filled. Allu Arjun and Rana brought enough hype over this film and satisfied most of the audience. Based on the Kakatiya Dynasty, Rudhramadevi report got a ‘One-time watchable’ comment.

Anushka, Allu Arjun, Rana, Prakash Raj, Krishnam Raju, Nithya Menon, Catherine Teresa are the lead characters in this film. After several postponements, Rudhramadevi was released on 9th of October. The Tamil version will be releasing this Friday i.e., 16th October.
