Crew members of director S Shankar’s film 2.0, starring Rajinikanth, allegedly attacked two photojournalists who questioned why the film unit had blocked a road in the Chennai neighborhood of Thiruvallikeni or Triplicane. They also reportedly asked if the unit had permission to shoot during the day.

Rajinikanth was not present on the sets at the time. A complaint has been filed against the film’s production manager, a bouncer, and director S Shankar’s nephew. The Chennai police said that they are looking into the matter and will file a First Information Report or FIR.

Most of 2.0, a sequel to the 2010 sci-fi blockbuster Enthiran, has already been filmed and is currently is post-production. Director Shankar revealed earlier this month that a song and some ‘patchwork’ shots were pending. 2.0 also stars Akshay Kumar, who has filmed his scenes, and actress Amy Jackson.

AR Rahman provides the soundtrack of 2.0 and the cast also includes actors Adil Hussain and Sudhanshu Pandey. The first look of the film was revealed last year and went instantly and massively viral. 2.0 will release on October 18 in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

We have already reported that sensational director Shankar has approached Hollywood actor Arnold to play the baddie in the sequel of blockbuster film ‘Robot 2’. Although Arnold agreed first, he has opted out now as Shankar demanded bulk dates from him.

Now, it is heard that Shankar is planning to rope in Bollywood star hero Hrithik Roshan to play the baddie opposite superstar Rajinikanth. Being a star hero, will Hrithik accept to become a villain? We have to wait for few more days to find out.

On the other hand, pre-productions works are in full swing for this graphic extravaganza. Sexy Amy Jackson has already been roped in by Shankar to play a sexy robot in the film. Rajini will join the shoot after wrapping up Kabali.

Hollywood Super Star Arnold Schwarzenegger, who is being rumoured of playing the antagonist, will be clarified of playing or no on December 12th.

Currently, Rajnikanth is in Malaysia shooting for ‘Kabali.’ This will release in the month of January. After completion of this, Rajni will join ‘Robo-2.’

For the anti-role, many popular names were considered. Tamil hero Vikram was rumoured of doing this role but wasn’t confirmed. Later on Shah Rukh Khan was also contacted for this crazy role. Now, talk has that Hollywood Superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger is being considered to fight against Rajnikanth in “Robo-2.”

With all such things going around “Robo-2,” expectations are building high over this movie. This film will start its regular shooting from December and may release at the end of 2016.
