Off late, Victory Venkatesh has been mostly doing mutistarrer films and interestingly, he has been successful with that. Till now, he scored hits with multistarrer films like Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Gopala Gopala and F2. Currently, he is busy shooting for yet another multistarrer, Venky Mama.

Meanwhile, Venky wanted to work with his brother’s son Rana for a long time. But things didn’t materialize till now. Though they both have worked for a few ads, they never acted together in a full-length feature film. According to the sources, the time has come for their union.

Apparently, director Veeru Potla had narrated a script to Venkatesh long back. Veeru planned to rope in Ravi Teja as other lead for the film, at that time. But it got shelved due to some reasons. Now, he is planning to make it again by replacing Ravi Teja with Rana. Talks are going on. Most probably, Suresh Babu will produce the flick along with Anil Sunkara. An announcement about this project is expected soon.

The interesting buzz from the filmnagar reveals that Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh are coming forward for a web series based on the assassination of Prime Minister Rajeev Gandhi. AMR Ramesh is going to direct the series and the announcement regarding the project is going to be out soon.

“The span of the story is very high, and we need more than three hours. This is the reason we wanted to do it as a web series. LTTE is the title confirmed for the project. We will reveal the death of Rajeev Gandhi in the first episode, and then we will shift to the story of LTTE chief Prabhakaran. Venkatesh will be seen as IPS Karthikeyan. Rana plays a key role. We are making the film in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.” revealed Ramesh.

Rana is currently busy with 1945 and Hathi Mere Sathi. Venkatesh is busy with another film in Teja’s direction. More details on the web series will be out soon.
