The interesting buzz from the filmnagar reveals that Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh are coming forward for a web series based on the assassination of Prime Minister Rajeev Gandhi. AMR Ramesh is going to direct the series and the announcement regarding the project is going to be out soon.
“The span of the story is very high, and we need more than three hours. This is the reason we wanted to do it as a web series. LTTE is the title confirmed for the project. We will reveal the death of Rajeev Gandhi in the first episode, and then we will shift to the story of LTTE chief Prabhakaran. Venkatesh will be seen as IPS Karthikeyan. Rana plays a key role. We are making the film in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.” revealed Ramesh.
Rana is currently busy with 1945 and Hathi Mere Sathi. Venkatesh is busy with another film in Teja’s direction. More details on the web series will be out soon.
