Rakhi Sawant was injured at a wrestling show organized by Great Khali at Tau Devi Lal Stadium. She was rushed to a private hospital in Zirakpur by the event organizers.

According to sources, a woman wrestler said that she can fight with anyone and asked people who wants to fight with her to come forward. Rakhi stepped up and said that she was a dancer and challenged her to compete with her in dance. The wrestler accepted and both started dancing. After that Rakhi accepted wrestler’s challenge and came into the ring. The woman wrestler lifted her up and threw her on the floor of the ring. Poor Rakhi suffered back injuries.

Everyone thought that Rakhi was also a wrestler or staff member. But after seeing Rakhi suffering from pain for 8 minutes, the event organizers came running and admitted her in the hospital. Rakhi is still in the hospital recovering from the injuries.

Ludhiana court has issued a fresh non-bailable warrant against Rakhi Sawant for allegedly making objectionable remarks against sage Valmiki, who wrote the Hindu epic Ramayana.

The court Judicial Magistrate, Vishav Gupta yesterday fixed June 2 as the next date for hearing in the case.

A local advocate Narinder Aditya had filed a complaint against Rakhi on July 9 last year alleging that she had hurt the religious sentiments of the Valmiki community by making derogatory comments against the sage.

Rakhi had allegedly made the comments during a programme on a private television channel last year.

Earlier, the court of Judicial Magistrate had issued an arrest warrant against her on March 9th.

On the instructions of the court, a two-member team of the Ludhiana police had left for Mumbai with the arrest warrant in April this year to arrest Rakhi Sawant, but had to return empty handed as she was not found at her address.
