Preity Zinta is inactive in the films for a long time now. Her last film is Heaven on Earth that released in 2008 and it is a Canadian movie. She has been doing as a judge for the reality shows but never came on the big screen after her 2008 released film.

A latest buzz reveals that a film of hers that started 7 years back is going to see the light soon. The film is titled Bhayya Ji superhit. The makers released the film’s poster and it is an interesting one. Neeraj Pathak is the director of the film which also has Ameesha Patel, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Sunny Deol and others in the lead roles.

The film is said to be a story with a gangster backdrop. Sunny Deol is playing a dual role in the film. Metro movies is the production house that bankrolled the project. The complete details about the movie will be released soon.

Preity Zinta’s cousin brother Nitin Chauhan has reportedly committed suicide, earlier in the day today. Nitin, who was 38 years old, shot himself with a pistol in his car in Shimla.

According to reports, Nitin ended his life due to problems with his in-laws. A suicide note too was found at the suicide spot, where Nitin has blamed his wife and in-laws for the extreme step.

It is learnt that Nitin was separated from his wife and was residing with his parents. A case has been registered against his wife and in-laws.

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, who married her American boyfriend Gene Goodenough in February this year in Los Angeles, has the other day visited Taj Mahal with her husband and in-laws.

On a day when the temperature was scorching in Agra, Preity Zinta took some time from her busy schedule and visited Taj Mahal with the Goodenough family. She took to her Instagram page and wrote how special the outing was for her even though she had visited Taj Mahal earlier for movie shooting.

​After a lot of speculations, the cat is finally out of the rumors. Preity Zinta has tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Gene Goodenough.

According to the reports,Preity got hitched to Gene Goodenough on February 28, 2016 at Los Angeles. The wedding was apparently a very private affair with only family and close friends.It is heard that Preity is planning to have her version of Indian wedding once she is back in April.

Preity’s close friends, Sussanne Khan and Surily Goel were spotted holidaying in Los Angeles and they also posted a lot of pictures on their Instagram account. This further confirmed the fact that Preity was indeed getting married in The City of Angels, Los Angeles.

I appreciate all the people who stand by me and support me but i must confess i am genuinely surprised and shocked at some reactions from people in general. My F.I.R IS VERY CLEAR yet its INTERPRETATIONS ARE MIND BOGGLING and there is so much speculation as to Why did i do what i did ? What was the motive behind my actions etc …… therefore this is my attempt to set the record straight.

Why did i report a personal matter to the police? PERSONAL MATTER ? Seriously ? For the record this relationship was ended by me in 2009 and i don’t ever recall having gone to the police on any personal matter irrespective of what happened then. But now its been 6 years since the break up so THIS IS NOT A PERSONAL MATTER.

Is this done for MONEY ? IPL was my project from the start and for the record not only did i pay for myself (5 crores)when i got into the IPL (bid) I paid for Ness too ! 5 crores ! (Proof of my financial commitment in the IPL is with the Bcci.) To be fair to him he did pay me back a couple of months later ( without any premium) so Hope the money theory is put to end once and for all.

Well as concise and clear as she could be, she doesn’t stop there.

Preity also goes on to completely bash the so called ‘theories’ that she is.. ahem.. connected to the underworld somehow, that the whole thing was for publicity or because of jealousy.

The diva then moves on to address the whole situation and the results from a social perspective, admonishing those who make any such assault on anyone look unimportant and drown it in a gossip shower.

She finally also conveys her respects to women everywhere who have faced such a situation or worse, and ends the whole explanation with a strong salute to women power.

Oh yeah, she also asks the media to respect her privacy and let the police deal with the matter now until it reaches a resolution. The police are expected to question Ness Wadia this week, and we too hope the matter’s laid to rest with justice for all..

Speaking to a bunch of reporters, Maria said, “We will examine these witnesses before proceeding with a further course of action.” Reportedly, Preity told him that the incidents of molestation and abuse took place at three locations -one during the IPL team selection in Bangalore, and twice at the Wankhede Stadium.

“Two foreign nationals are witnesses in the case, one of them being Gene Goodenough. Both, have sent their statements via email,” Maria added.

Preity Zinta returned to Mumbai last week for recording her statment in the molestation case. Preity Zinta has accused Industrialist Ness Wadia of molestation and ohysical abuse during various occasions of the Indian Premier League. Her primary complaint is abou the incident at Wankhede Stadium.

It was taken a few hours after her infamous altercation with her former boyfriend and business partner Ness. The photo shows traces of the bruise on her arm that was the result of Ness’s alleged physical assault.

Well, this picture has surely taken the world by storm and may just be the necessary breakthrough needed in the Preity Zinta-Ness Wadia case.

The Preity Zinta-Ness Wadia controversy has been going on for quite some time now. And now, there’s a shocking revelation in the case. Bruises spotted on Preity Zinta’s body!

Danish Merchant revealed that the actress showed him bruises on her arm on 31st of May, a day after she was allegedly molested and abused in public by Ness Wadia at the Wankhede Stadium. Danish, a builder by profession, is one of the 4 key witnesses in the case.

Jai Kanojia, a common friend between Ness Wadia and Preity Zinta told police that he saw the businessman grabbing Preity’s hand on May 30th. However, he claimed that he wasn’t aware about the conversation that was happening between them.

Statements of 9 witnesses have been recorded by Marine Drive Police Station. Cases under sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of IPC has been registered against Ness Wadia.

Well, only time will tell who the real culprit in the case is.

And that’s not all. Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar also may have to record his statement with the Mumbai police in connection with the molestation case filed by Preity Zinta against Ness Wadia.

Arjun Tendulkar, son of the legendary cricketer Sachin tendulkar, was apparently present at the Wankhede Stadium when the incident occurred, and some unconfirmed reports say that Wadia may have allegedly abused him too.

Earlier, Zinta had denied selling her stake in Kings XI Punjab team. She tweeted that she was neither going to sell her stake in the team, nor was she planning to settle in America.

Zinta had on June 24 recorded her statement inside the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai, after she returned from the US.

Preity also, reportedly, recreated the sequence of events inside Wankhede, where the alleged incident took place.

Now, the police will go ahead and record the statement of other witnesses.

Police have so far recorded the statements of seven persons, including Indian Premier League COO Sundar Raman and BCCI Secretary Sanjay Patel, in connection with the case.

Preity Zinta had filed a complaint against Ness Wadia for physically and verbally abusing her at the Wankhede Stadium during the IPL match between Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings.

Preity Zinta told the police that she was abused thrice and manhandled once by Ness Wadia on May 30. That’s right! Preity Zinta reveals the truth About Abuse Incident!

She also pointed out the two spots where the alleged incident had taken place and also showed them the spot on the ground where she claims that she was abused for the third time.

According to a police officer, Preity was seated under the air conditioned box in the Garware Pavilion initially which was where Ness Wadia, according to her, started abusing a team official over the seating arrangement. Preity apparently asked Wadia to be quiet as their team, Kings X1 Punjab, was playing well. “She claimed he then started abusing her and even pulled her hand,” said the officer.

“Preity then left the seat and moved to one in front near the railing where Wadia again abused her. At this point, an American national identified as Gene Goodenough, who was Preity’s guest, stood up and appealed for silence and later threatened to hit Wadia. After this Wadia left the spot. After the match ended, when Preity went to the ground to congratulate her team members, Wadia abused her for the third time.”, he added.

Preity has named 14 others present when the incident took place, which includes a son of a legendary cricketer. She has also referred to some friends of Wadia, but has told the police that she doesn’t know their names.

Preity also stated that Wadia’s mother, Maureen, never came to the open box in Garware where the actress was initially abused and manhandled.

A team from the anti-extortion cell also met Preity.

When Preity’s lawyer asked her about the threat issued by Ravi Pujari to Nusli Wadia’s secretaries, she denied knowing the gangster.

Preity Zinta recorded statement against Ness Wadia this morning at Marine Drive Police Station.

Preity Zinta, who returned to India from the US on Sunday, declined to speak to the media and appealed to them to not seek any comment from her or her staff and friends on the case she has filed against her ex-boyfriend Ness Wadia.

Preity Zinta took to Twitter to express her concern over this.
“Exhausted but happy to finally be back home in Mumbai. I’d like to apologize to the media but it will not be possible for me to make any comments or statements as this investigation is still on,” tweeted Preity.

“Pls co operate & PLEASE don’t call my staff or friends non stop as they have requested me to make this appeal to you all on their behalf. Thank you,” she tweeted and posted on her Facebook page.

Preity did not speak to the media who were waiting eagerly for her arrival at the Mumbai airport.

Earlier, Preity left for the US soon after filing a complaint against Wadia for using foul language towards her during an IPL match at Wankhede stadium and also accusing him of harassing and abusing her.

Preity Zinta breaks her silence!

That’s right! Preity, who has been in the headlines for her molestation complaint against businessman and former beau Ness Wadia, finally broke her silence on all the speculations over Preity Zinta-Ness Wadia issue.

The actress took to Twitter to clear her stand on the speculations doing the rounds about her.

Preity said she will not be selling off her stake in the Indian Premier League team Kings XI Punjab and nor is she settling in US.

“A big Thank U 2all the people 4the support. Amazed at how much speculation in the media. No I’m not selling my stake or settling in the US,” tweeted Preity Zinta.

The actress also requested the media not to report on the basis of ‘hear and say’.

“SO called sources says anything & its getting reported. Pls No hear say. There are many IMP Issues in India which are much more news worthy,” tweeted Preity.

Preity Zinta, co-owner of the IPL team Kings XI Punjab, filed a police complaint against Ness Wadia on June 13, alleging that he molested, abused and threatened her inside Wankhede stadium, Mumbai.

She gave a written complaint following which an FIR was registered against Ness Wadia under IPC sections 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation) and 509 (Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman).

Preity Zinta has been in the news for past few days because of her molestation case against industrialist and her former boyfriend Ness Wadia.

There were reports that Preity was hoping to revive her relationship with Ness, but he has found new love and has moved on. Reportedly, this bothered Preity and that was the reason why she got Ness into trouble.

However, a source close to Preity denies the reports and claims that Preity is very secure in her current relationship.

A source close to the actress said, “Preity either laughs or gets annoyed with such stories. She is very confident and has always been open about her feelings. She is not jealous of anyone and is happy in her own space. Preity Zinta’s New Boyfriend is not like Ness. He’s a true gentleman!”

“Preity is in a relationship and is safe and secure about it. She is not upset or hurt about Ness Wadia’s relationship with someone. Infact, she is enjoying the happy phase in her life. And yeah, she wants justice.. which is why she has filed the complaint. She doesn’t have to resort to such measures for the sake of publicity. She is popular enough!”, the source added.

Meanwhile, strong rumours have been doing the rounds that Preity will be selling her “Kings XI Punjab” stake and settle in the United States.

However, an official confirmation regarding the same is awaited.

Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia‘s battle turned ugly after the actress accused Ness of physically abusing her in public during an IPL match at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

The actress went on to seek the help of police as she filed a complaint against her former beau alleging that he not only behaved inappropriately with her in public but was also screaming abuses to her in front of the team.

When Ness was informed about this case and questioned, he claimed that he was shocked by these allegations.

Preity recently took to Twitter and wrote an open letter to the public and media saying,

“I may not be super wealthy and powerful but I have truth by my side and I’ve worked very hard all my life and tried to earn respect for myself as a self made professional. It saddens me that no one at work or around ever stood up for me in the past when I was abused and insulted publicly. This time I was left with no option but to take this stern step as this incident happened in front of way too many people.

Sometimes we are so ashamed and humiliated that we fool ourselves to believe that no one saw what happened. Everyone always looks away as if they don’t exist or then we don’t exist. People are embarrassed just enough to look away, but not too embarrassed to intervene.

Ironically what happened at Wankade is being diluted by every other fabricated story about my character except the truth of what happened. I’m sure the witnesses will speak the truth and I trust and believe that the police will do their job fairly and quickly.

No woman likes to be involved in a controversy like this which makes her open and vulnerable for all to take a dig at. I have worked for over 15 years in the film industry and have never been subject to such humiliating behaviour and for that I really want to thank all the men that worked with me. Through all our highs and lows my head was always held high.

Every human being has a limit to how much they can take ; some of us foolishly call it strength and try to look ahead focusing on the positives of work and life. All these years I have never said anything about him in the media but now I have no choice.

I humbly request the media and my supporters to please focus on the issue and the incident that happened in Wankade and not turn this and me into a TV soap. This is not easy for me and my intention is not to harm anyone but simply to protect myself and to stand up for myself. I don’t want any sympathy from anyone but I will sincerely appreciate it if people do not try to take away my dignity in the process of my fight for respect at my workplace. I think after all these years I deserve it and I’m not asking for too much.”

The police started investigating the matter after Preity Zinta’s open letter to the public and media, and have decided to summon the business tycoon. That’s right! Ness Wadia to be summoned. The police also demanded a CCTV footage to check the facts.

Detailed investigation of the footage, however, did not have any leads as the camera was panning through the crowd and did not focus on any particular location. The examination of two witnesses (unnamed) wasn’t fruitful either since the two of them weren’t willing to co-operate.
