Yesterday night Brazil team won the match against Colombia with a score of 2-1 in the second quarter finals to enter the Semis in the World Cup.

Model and actress Poonam Pandey, who is known for her promise to strip naked if the Indian cricket team won the 2011 world cup (which she eventually didn’t) was arrested by the Mumbai police from Mira Road last night.

“Poonam Pandey was caught wearing skimpy attire and indulging in indecent acts between 10:30-11 pm. She was not accompanied by a male and waited for someone for quite a long time. We have let her off with a warning,” Praful Wagh, Crime API, Mira Road Police station, said.

She was arrested for ‘indecent and lude behaviour’. There was no immediate indication on what exactly those ‘indecent acts’ were, and why the police thought she needed to be accompanied by a male.

Pandey, who is usually very active on Twitter, has not said responded to the news of this incident yet, so we are still to hear her version of what happened.
