Nandamuri Balakrishna’s much awaited 100th film “Gouthamiputra Satakarni” release date is confirmed. Krish is the director, and it is being publicized that this movie will be hitting cinemas for Sankranthi 2017. And yesterday, director Krish has given the clarity about it.

As for the latest update, director Krish attended the trailer launch function of “Srirastu Subhamastu” on yesterday and shared with all that they are looking at January 12th as the release date Nandamuri Balakrishna’s mighty 100th film, “Gautamiputra Satakarni”. As of now, graphics work of the film is going on and post August the shooting will continue as scheduled. Produced by Rajiv Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamud, the film will hit the screens on January 12th, 2017 as Sankranthi gift.

The entire unit of Satakarni has recently headed to Georgia to shoot a war sequence to be featured in the climax. It is heard that the war sequence is going to be major episode, which features the Satakarni fight it out with Greek soldiers. Director Krish planned to use nearly 1,000 soldiers, 300 horses and 20 chariots for this scene. Seen here in the above pic, Balayya poses with the Telugu medical students in Georgia.

Gautamiputra Satakarni is a period drama film, which is based on a life history of 2nd century CE, Satavahana ruler Gautamiputra Satakarni. The movie has three war sequences and one of them appears before the interval. The film unit has completed the canning of this sequence in the first schedule held in Morocco. The second war scene has been shot in Hyderabad.

The film is set to be the landmark film in the career of Nandamuri Balakrishna. Saibabu Jagarlamudi and Y Rajeev Reddy, who are bankrolling this project under the banner First Frame Entertainment, are leaving no stone unturned to make it a huge success at the box office.

Here is the latest information about Nandamuri Balakrishna’s son, Mokshagna’s Tollywood debut.

Veteran director Singeetham Sreenivasa Rao, who is set to direct the sequel of ‘Aditya 369’ starring Balakrishna, reiterated that he had finished the script, and whenever it happens, it will happen with Balayya only. He added that he had prepared the subject keeping Mokshagna in mind. He confirmed that Mokshagna’s debut would happen with this project only.

In the film, Balayya will essay the role he played in the first part, and Mokshagna will play a young prince. Titled Aditya 999, the film might happen as Balayya’s 102nd film. Balayya’s 101st film is already finalized. Directed by Krishna Vamsi, it will be titled ‘Raithu.’

Balakrishna is currently busy shooting for war sequences for his much awaited 100th film titled ‘Gouthamiputhri Sathakarni’. Shriya Saran is playing the leading lady in this Krish directorial.

Nandamuri Balakrishna is one of the very few senior actors who don’t like to take the help of dupes to do stunts.

The team of Balakrishna’s landmark 100th film ‘Gauthamiputra Sathakarni’ is currently in Georgia filming the pivotal war scenes between Sathavahana kingdom and Greek kingdom. Even though director Krish wanted to use body double for Balayya, the senior actor rejected the idea and instead volunteered to do those risky stunts all by himself.

The entire unit was in awe of Balayya’s commitment at 50 plus age. Krish is however said to be taking precautions during filming the war scenes. The shooting will last until this month end. This war sequence is expected to be the highlight of the film.

Also starring Shriya Saran, Kabir Bedi, and others, GPS is slated for worldwide release for Sankranthi 2017.

Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is busy in his upcoming historical drama ‘Gautamiputra Satkarani, ’, is going to grace the 100 days function of Kannada Super Hit movie ‘Shivalinga’, as chief guest. Ambareesh is one more chief guest who is going to share the same stage with Balayya. The event is going to be held on Sunday 19th in Bengaluru.

‘Shivalinga’ starring Shivraj Kumar, Vedhika, and Shakti Vasudevan. Directed by P Vasu and produced by K. A. Suresh under the banner of Suresh Arts was released on 12th February 2016 and turned out successful at the box office. This horror-mystery film is one of the biggest hits in Kannada cinema this year. V. Harikrishna scores the music. The climax of the movie was reported to be taken straight out of an Agatha Christie novel.

Balayya and Shivaraj Kumar are very close together and share good rapport right from the days of NTR and Rajkumar’s undisputed reign at the box-office in Telugu and Kannada respectively. On the special request of Shivaraj Kumar and P Vasu, tomorrow Balakrishna will fly to Bengaluru to attend the event.

Soon after wrapping up the first schedule of the film Gautamiputra Satakarni, Balakrishna and team planned to return India, but Nandamuri Balakrishna will fly to the US for a noble cause. Balakrishna will be touring various cities of the United States to raise funds for serving poor patients in Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital. The actor will be attending charity dinners and meet fan clubs in the USA.

Balakrishna has been appealing NRIs to contribute as much as they can for a good cause. In the past also, he proposed few plans in gaining funds for the hospital. Already Balakrishna became successful in acquiring funds for his hospital through several means. Recently Junior NTR and director Krish have also donated money to the hospital. The actor is already fixed a target amount that is to be gained from NRI’s. Hopefully, we wish he reaches his target.

After canning the shoot for three weeks, Balakrishna will tour the US for two weeks. He will participate in few dinner events arranged by several NGOs and will also interact with fans. Balayya’s birthday is planned on a grand scale in the USA only.

Several top actresses have so far turned down to play the leading lady of Balakrishna.

Top actress Nayanthara, who acted with Balakrishna in ‘Simha’ and ‘Sri Ramarajyam’, was approached first to play Balakrishna’s queen, but Nayanthara rejected the film citing date issues. Nayan is already busy with a handful of films, and she had no interest to allot bulk dates for Balayya.

Kajal Aggarwal and Anjali were also approached after Nayanthara rejected the film. However, both the ladies refused to romance Balakrishna for an unknown reason.

Goa beauty Ileana, who has been waiting for a long time to make a perfect comeback to the south, was also approached to play the queen opposite Balakrishna, but she has also turned down the project. Ileana was looking to make her comeback with a more glamorous role.

Anil Ravipudi is currently busy with the shooting of Supreme starring Sai Dharam and Rashi Khanna. He is planning to make Ramarao Garu as his next directorial film starring Balakrishna. DilRaju is currently producing Supreme and he might produce the Balayya starrer as well. This project will take a while to hit the floors as Balakrishna would soon start shooting of Aditya 999.

Tollywood actor, Hindupur MLA and TDP Supreme Chandrababu Naidu’s brother-in-law Balakrishna Nandamuri has today met Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in Hyderabad, and the duo had a long chat over various issues.

Balayya has reportedly shared the services conducted under Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital under his administration. The Hindupur MLA has asked permission of TRS govt to regulate the norms of the buildings being built in the premises of the Cancer Hospital. He also asked the CM to increase the night-shelters for the relatives of the patients, for which KCR reacted positively.

On the occasion, Balayya has reportedly invited the CM to watch his recent released film ‘Dictator’. When the CM enquired the actor about his 100th flick, Balayya replied that the film will be a sequel to his 90s blockbuster “Aditya 369”. Titled ‘Aditya 999’, it will be directed by Singeetham Sreenivasa Rao and will mark the debut of his son Mokshagna.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming action entertainer ‘Dictator’ is all set to land in Bollywood. This film that is making its way for the Sankranti is filming its final portions. As per the sources, Director Sriwass recently met few top producers in Bollywood and shared his idea of remaking ‘Dictator’ in Hindi.

After listening and cross checking the script that Sriwass has written, the producers accepted to remake this film in Hindi. In the further discussions, the producer talked of casting in Ajay Devgan, as they felt that Ajay would perfectly suit the role. If everything works well, then Sriwass will direct his first Bollywood film sooner.

Dictator that stars Balakrishna also has Anjali and Sonal Chauhan as the heroines. Balakrishna will be seen in a dual role in this film, one of a mafia don and other a market supervisor. The audio of Dictator will be releasing on December 20th in the new capital of AP-Amaravathi. S.S.Thaman composed music for this film.

Eros International and Director Sriwass are jointly producing this film. Kona Venkat-Gopi Mohan duo has given the screenplay for Dictator.
