Actor cum filmmaker Srinivas Avasarala who made his debut as a director with the film Oohalu Gusagusalade is now coming up with his second film as a director. The actor and director wanted to make it big with this movie too. He has almost done with the shooting formalities, and the post production is in progress. The film’s audio is going to be unveiled on 19th of this month. Kalyan Koduri is the music director. Sai Korrapati is producing the film on Vaarahi Chalana Chitra banner. It is well known that the talented director A R Murugadoss recently released the first look poster of his upcoming directorial and production venture Akira starring dazzling beauty Sonakshi Sinha. The first look poster received thumping response from the audience.

The film Akira is a remake of Tamil hit movie Mouna Guru, which was released in 2011. According to the sources, earlier the movie was being made in Telugu and it was titled Shankara starring budding actor Nara Rohit and Regina Cassandra. Thathineni Satya Prakash directed the film, but unfortunately the project got shelved in middle.

Later, Murugadoss decided to remake the film in Bollywood and changed it into a woman-centric movie. The movie also features Konkona Sen Sharma, Urmila Mahanta and Anurag Kashyap in key roles and whereas hot and happening actress Rai Lakshmi will be seen in cameo.

Akira’s trailer will be released on July 4th. The music is composed by Vishal, Shekar and it is scheduled for a worldwide release on 2nd September 2016.

Rumors are quite common in the film industry. From the past few days, rumour has been doing rounds in the film circles that Nara Rohit would play the role of a Balakrishna’s son in the iconic 100th film ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’. Story

Raja Ram (Nara Rohit) is an aspiring director. He tries his best to get a producer to make his debut as he has so much belief on his talent and skills. He has a girl friend Chaitra (Isha Talwar). One day, while on a meet with her in a cafe, he narrates her the script of first film. All the people in that cafe gets super excited and are impressed. He gets a courier the very next day with money and a letter by a person, who is said to be a star director, requesting Raja Ram to write him an exciting and different love story. He accepts that offer and sends him a love story. He then gets an offer to write climax for an action film from the same director and Raja Ram accepts. When he send the climax, he gets a threat to kill Manik (Tarakarathna), who is a ruthless killer, who has good influence in ministers and MLA’s. If he don’t kill Manik, Raja Ram will be killed instead. Who is Manik?? Who is the person sending him courier?? How Raja Ram solve this problem?? forms the rest of the story.

Cast and Performance

Nara Rohith as an aspiring director Raja Ram is good. He looks odd and fat. He must shed out some weight. Tarakarathna did a superb job as antagonist. But he is not used to the core. Ishi Talwar is okay. Srinivas Avasarala is good. Raghu Karumanchi and other who act as Nara Rohith friends are good. Rajeev Kanakala is good in his brief role. Siva Balaji and Ravi are okay.

Writing Department

Story of the film is nice which is laced up with thrilling elements. Screenplay is very flat and bad. Dialogues are good.

Technical Departments

Songs composed by Sai Karthik are just okay. He did a pretty impressive work with background score. He completed compositions for 50 films in very short span of time. Cinematography is good. Editing is okay. Stunts and action are well choreographed.

Verdict

Tarakarathna is introduced as an antagonist in the very first scene itself. First fifteen minutes are just for his character briefing. After that our hero Nara Rohit is introduced as an aspiring director. Love track between hero and heroine and the establishing conflict between hero and villain consumes first half. Love track between Nara Rohith and Isha Talwar has nothing new and has no emotional depth but has one or two moments to laugh. Screenplay is a big let down in this half. It neither engage audience into it nor create curiosity in the minds of audience. A bit of interest is generated with the Interval bang and loses its grip with the beginning of second half. There is no change in the screenplay. It is the worst part of the movie. A flashback starts after a twist is revealed which is flat. With the ending of flashback, audience feel that movie is a wasted opportunity. Debutant director Pradeep Chilukuri failed miserably in handling screenplay and direction. To sum up, Raja Cheyi Vesthe has nothing to offer and is an example of failed execution. Watch it if you are a fan of Nara Rohith or Tarakarathna but don’t expect anything.

We are talking about Rohit’s new film ‘Raja Cheyyi Vesthe’. Produced by Vaarahi banner, the audio of this movie will be launched on 25th March at an event to be held in Vijayawada. AP Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Nandamuri Balakrishna will be gracing the event.

Pradeep Chilukuri is being introduced as director with the film having Taraka Ratna playing villain character. The rugged looks of both Rohith and Taraka Ratna are already well received. IshaTalwar is playing leading lady.

Story

Five IT professionals Kishore, Kalki, Poojitha, Sudharshan go on a camping trip in Ananthagiri Hills. Accidentally, they meet a saint in that hills and are given a boon by him. They chose to get news paper on the day after Dussehra festival which is after four months. Saint gives them what they ask. Coincidentally, everything in that newspaper turns to be real. These five IT professionals lose their job as their company is shut down temporarily. They go on a search of a person named Raju. With the intense search they find and they fixes an agreement with him. Who is Raju?? Why are they in the search of Raju?? What is their agreement?? Do they succeed with their intention?? forms the rest of the story.

Cast and Performance

Nara Rohith as Raju, a good for nothing, useless middle class guy is fantastic. He is good at his body language and diction. But only drawback from his side is his heavy body. He looks so fat. It’s time for him to shed some weight. Latha Hegde is okay for her role. She looks glamorous as a sports enthusiast. Vennela Kishore is rocking as usual. Sudharshan is nice. Poojitha Ponnada, know for short films is superb. In some scenes she looks glamorous than heroine Latha Hegde. Adhurs Raghu is good in his comic role. Shakalaka Shankar is routine with his comedy acts. Kabir Duhan Singh as Killer Raju is superb. He is so intense in his boxer role. Ali as boxing referee is good. He tried his best to evoke comedy but fails in certain scenes.

Writing Department

Plot of the story mixed with fantasy element by A R Murugadoss is interesting. Screenplay is gripping at some places. Dialogues by Lakshmi Bhupal are good.

Technical Departments

Songs composed by Sai Karthik are good. Diamond Girl and Ding Dong songs are nice. His background music is superb but loud. Cinematography by M R Palani Kumar is nice. Visuals of the forest which comes in the beginning of the movie is superb. He tried his best to give fantastic visuals. Editing by Thammi Raju is good. He should have done his job a bit more fine. Art by Murali Kondeti is good. Stunts by Venkat are good. Production values of Sri Keerthi Films is nice.

Verdict

Movie starts with five IT professionals going on a camping trip in Ananthagiri hills. Visuals are too good in these scenes. Story of the movie is revealed layer by layer with some humour. Scenes written to generate comedy are so routine. They work to some extent but looks pale. Screenplay takes pace at the interval. First half is interesting and entertaining. Second half starts with boxing matches which are funny and illogical. Its just a story of a useless middle class guy transforming into a boxing champion for love mixed with some fantasy element. Movie becomes emotional in the pre climax backed up by superb score by Sai Karthik. To sum up, Thuntari is interesting movie mixed with fantasy element.

The first look teaser of Nara Rohith’s latest movie “Savitri” has been released on the eve of Valentines’ Day.

Rohith impressed with his look and dialogue modulation. Nanditha charmed with her cute screen presence in this upcoming romantic entertainer. The film seems to be fall in the category of films that revolve around marriage and family. The teaser has a pleasant feel to it with catchy music.

Nara Rohit has denied having any relation with Tadikonda Sai Krishna, who has been collecting huge amounts from several film enthusiasts by introducing himself as the manager of the actor and telling them to make a film with the hero.

The young actor has said that he knew Sai Krishna only as a fan and has no relation with him at all. He asked the people to inform him if anyone approaches them to collect money using his name.
