Actress Tanushree Dutta was the first women in Bollywood who came out in public and shred her dark experiences in the industry. In fact, she is the one who started the MeToo movement in India. Later, many people working in the film industry have come out to share their terrible experiences.

Tanushree has stated that senior actor Nana Patekar had sexually harassed her during the shoot of 2007 film, Horn Ok Please. A case was filed on him and the actor was sacked from all his ongoing projects. After several months of investigation, the Mumbai Police has given him a clean chit in the case.

The cops have enquired the people who worked for the film and various other sources and none of them has confessed that Nana has committed the mistake. Thus, the cops gave him a clean chit. On the other side, Tanushree claimed that clean chit was not given to Nana and his team is spreading lies to gain sympathy.

Versatile actor Rana Daggubati is now prepping up for another interesting film called Virata Parvam 1992. This movie will be directed by Venu Udugula who earlier made Needi Nadi Oke Katha. Suresh Babu will be bankrolling this movie and Sai Pallavi will be seen as the female lead.

From past few days, it is also being reported that actresses Tabu and Priyamani will essay key roles in the movie. Veteran Bollywood actress Zarina Wahab is also making her comeback in Tollywood with this movie. Now, we hear that the makers have approached Nana Patekar as well.

It seems that Nana was offered to play a negative role in the movie. It is still unclear whether he has signed the film or not. If he does, it will be his first film in Tollywood. The shoot of this film will go on floors in June.

Director Trivikram often cast other language actors in his films. In Atharintiki Daaredi and Agnathavasi, he roped in Boman Irani. For S/O Satya Murthy, he brought Kannada star Upendra and he had cast Kushboo for Agnathavaasi. But he faced criticism for roping in these actors.

Farhad Samji is going to take up the direction of this film whereas Tollywood hero Rana Daggubati is going to replace Nana Patekar in the film. The movie unit is currently in talks with Rana who is yet to take the final call.

Actress Tanushree Dutta is making the headlines by bringing up a 10-year-old controversy. She is alleging that she was harassed by an actor Nana Patekar on the sets of “Horn ‘Ok’ Pleassss” in 2009. In an interview with a TV Channel, Tanushree Dutta said that even though so many people knew about Nana Patekar’s indecent behaviour with women, but have been tight-lipped.

“Everyone knows about Nana Patekar that he has always been disrespectful towards women. People in the industry know about his background, he has beaten actresses, he has molested them, his behaviour with women has always been rude but no publication has printed anything about it,” said Tanushree. She also took the names of biggies Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth. “Akshay Kumar made few films with Nana Patekar in last eight years and Rajinikanth also recently worked with him (in Kaala). If such big stars will keep working with these culprits then there’s no hope for any movement to happen.” Added Tanushree.

She claimed that we hear so many stories about these actors. But nothing happens to them because their PR team manages these issues very well. Tanushree Dutta was supposed to appear in a special song sequence in “Horn ‘Ok’ Pleassss” movie, but she dropped out reportedly because of Nana Patekar’s misbehavior.

Versatile Bollywood actor Nana Patekar has said he doesn’t feel that South Indian superstar Rajinikanth is a star.

During a private event, when a journalist asked Nana Patekar about the Hungama surrounding Rajinikanth’s latest film ‘Kabali,’ Nana said that there were no superstars in this country, and Cinema is the only superstar. ‘If there is content in the film, even a small film will do wonders. With a terrible script, even films of so called stars won’t recover costs,’ added the versatile actor.

Nana’s comments have become important in the context of ‘Kabali’ breaking records even with divided talk. Fans of Rajinikanth and even common movie lovers opine that Rajini is the biggest superstar of this country who broke almost every box office record with a film that received negative talk.
