It is already a known fact that the most adorable Tollywood love birds Samantha and Naga Chaitanaya are all set to get engaged on January 29th officially. The wedding will be happen this summer.

While speaking about his son’s wedding, Nagarjuna said that they are making all the grand arrangement for Chaithu and Akhil’s marriage. When asked about Samantha’s relationship with him, Nag said that there is no clarification what Sam will call him as a father-in-law.

He further admitted that he is curious to know that what Samantha will call him. Whenever he asks about the same, Nag said that Sam just smile and she will not say anything. Nagarjuna admitted that Akhil’s fiancée Shreya Bhupal will call him as Nag Mama as she knew him from childhood.

Om Namo Venkatesaya is a devotional film coming up in the combination of Akkineni Nagarjuna and director K Raghavendra Rao. The film is about Hathi Ram Baba, a great devotee of Lord Venkateswara. Controversial genius Ram Gopal Varma looks to be not stepping back regarding his new film ‘Vangaveeti’ despite several alleged threats.

After organizing a grand audio release function in Vijayawada, now Varma is planning to hold a massive pre-release function in Hyderabad. Guess who is attending this event as chief guests? Its Akkineni Nagarjuna and Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

Varma himself has divulged this info and also announced the date, 20th December, two days ahead of the film’s release date, 23rd Dec.

It has to be seen if Varma can really succeed in roping Big B and Nag to attend this event, which has alleged threats from members belonging to a particular community. Varma has already met the Vangaveeti family members and later he admitted that he was cautioned against having controversial content in the film.

It has been more than two years, the love birds Naga Chaitanya and Samantha appeared on silver screen after Manam. The couple has been making headlines for quite some time now.

However, for the past few days, there were speculations that the love birds will be seen in Kalyan Krishna’s next. Initially Samantha and Naga Chaitanya agreed to be part of the film. But, later Nagarjuna restricted them to do so.

Going into details, King Nagarjuna reportedly said to Sam and Chaithu not to act a film together until their marriage. The main reason is said to be they may face some issues regarding work. So, Nag asked them to reject the offer.

As Samantha backed off from the project, the director roped in Rakul Preet Singh as the film’s leading lady.

The leakage episode of Baahubali 2 was known to all, but the same culprit could have leaked Nagarjuna Akkineni’s devotional film Om Namo Venkatesaya as well if he was not caught.

Krishna, a VFX editor working at Annapurna Studios was arrested by the Vijayawada police after they identified him as the culprit of the recent ‘Baahubali 2’ leak, after going through the CCTV footage. Five more people were also arrested for circulating those leaked videos on social media.

In one of the gadgets confiscated from these miscreants, police found some videos of Nag’s Om Namo Venkatesaya. Krishna said that he didn’t yet share those videos with none of his friends but he would have done it if he was not caught.

Soon after learning this, makers of Nag’s devotional film breathed a sigh of relief and decided to increase the number of CCTVs at the editing block of Annapurna Studios.

Actress Tabu, who was rumored to have had a passionate relationship with married Nagarjuna Akkineni until a few years ago, has reportedly been specially called up for a special role in Akhil’s second film.

Reportedly, Nag has personally called so Tabu couldn’t say no. This project will be the second film co-starring Akhil and Tabu. Earlier, the duo was seen in ‘Sisindri’.

After the disastrous result of his highly anticipated debut film ‘Akhil’, the young Akkineni scion took a long gap to finalize his second project. Acclaimed filmmaker Vikram Kumar, who has earlier directed classic Akkineni family drama ‘Manam’, has been signed by Nag to provide a break for his son. The script work is finished and the pre-production is under progress.

This untitled project will be launched in January 2017. Newcomer Megha Akash is the frontrunner to play the female lead in this romantic entertainer.

King Nagarjuna is currently very much busy with the shooting of the film Om Namo Venkatesaya. Nagarjuna is playing Hathi Ram Baba, a devotee of Lord Venkateswara. K Raghavendra Rao is the director of the film. Nagarjuna has not signed any film after this. The film Om Namo Venkatesaya will be releasing mostly in February next year.

Nagarjuna Akkineni might team up with Chandoo Mondeti soon. Already Chandoo Mondeti revealed that he had readied an interesting cop story for Nagarjuna. Nagarjuna heard the script, and he was apparently impressed with the same too. Nagarjuna is thinking of getting back to commercial zone and wanted to act in a commercial and action entertainer. He feels that the film with Chandoo Mondeti will now help him to achieve the same.

As per latest reports, Nagarjuna has acquired the distribution rights of Krishna region in association with Sai Korrapati. The deal was said to be clinched by paying the makers a staggering amount of Rs 8 Cr.

In fact, ‘Baahubali’ first part collected Rs 6.8 Cr share in Krishna region. However, Nag dared to invest Rs 1.2 Cr more for the second part. ‘Given the craze for the film, hike in ticket rates and expanded market, it will not be a tough task for Baahubali 2 to bring profits,’ feels Nag.
