Apart from being an actor and producer, Akkineni Nagarjuna is also a successful film distributor and businessman. The senior actor now seems to have made a wise yet risky investment on ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’.
Post the phenomenal success of ‘Baahubali’ first part, and several top rated distributors are lobbying to grab the rights of part 2. As per latest reports, Nagarjuna has acquired the distribution rights of Krishna region in association with Sai Korrapati. The deal was said to be clinched by paying the makers a staggering amount of Rs 8 Cr.
In fact, ‘Baahubali’ first part collected Rs 6.8 Cr share in Krishna region. However, Nag dared to invest Rs 1.2 Cr more for the second part. ‘Given the craze for the film, hike in ticket rates and expanded market, it will not be a tough task for Baahubali 2 to bring profits,’ feels Nag.
