Manmadhudu 2 is the upcoming Telugu film starring Nagarjuna Akkineni in the lead role. The film is the sequel for the super successful film titled as Manmadhudu. Interestingly, the film is directed by Rahul Ravindran who scored a hit with the movie Chi La Sow. He is confident about the film’s success and Nagarjuna himself is producing the film along with Gemini Kiran.

Manmadhudu 2 is being shot at a rapid pace ever since the day it has been started. Already, the team has wrapped up a big schedule in Portugal recently and within no time, another schedule has been started in Hyderabad. Interesting, Keerthy Suresh has joined the sets in this schedule.
Apparently, she plays one of the romantic interests of Nag in the film. Looking at the cast, the films look like a remake of recent Hindi film De De Pyar De. It is already known that Nag and Rakul are the main leads of the film. Rakul is half of Nag’s age and he falls for her in the film.
Same is the case with De De Pyar De where hero Ajay Devgn falls for Rakul (again!) who is half of his age. There Tabu played the role of Nag’s wife while here Keerthy is reprising that role. But an older heroine would have suited for Nag rather than Keerthy who is also almost the same age of Rakul. Anyways, this is just a speculation and we can only know the truth after the release.

The audience will definitely be astonished to see this beauty in a slim look. Rakul Preet Singh is playing the female lead in the film. Directed by Rahul Ravindran, this film features Vennela Kishore, Lakshmi, Devadarshini, and Jhansi in other important roles.

RX100, the super successful bold movie of the Telugu film industry is a phenomenal movie on the celluloid. No one has ever expected that the movie could do well. When the film was aired on the Television, everyone thought that all the major portions will be chopped off and people might not view it.

After scoring a debacle with ‘Sailaja Reddy Alludu’, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is all set to come up with his upcoming movie ‘Savyasachi’. Bollywood beauty Nidhhi Agarwal is making her debut in Telugu with this movie.
Ninnu Road Meeda Chusinaka
‘Premam’ fame Chandoo Mondeti helmed this project. It is already known that the makers are adding the remix version of the super hit song ‘Ninnu Road Meeda Chusinadi Lagayathu’ in the movie. The movie unit has unveiled the trailer of this song. Naga Chaitanya impressed the audience with his dance moves and Nidhhi is an absolute stunner in the song. This song is originally from Nagarjuna’s ‘Allari Alludu’ movie in 1993 and was a chartbuster at that time. Naga Chaitanya’s remix version is also garnering a positive response from the audience. In fact, Tamannaah was supposed to shake her legs in this song. But because of some reasons that are best known to them, the makers canned the song with the female lead Nidhi Agarwal.
SP Balasubramanyam crooned the original song whereas Prudhvi Chandra gave his voice for the remix version. MM Keeravani scored the music for this film. Mythri movie makers bankrolled this project. Bhumika and Madhavan played crucial roles in the film which is slated to hit the screens on November 2nd.

This film turned out to be a trap for Officer as the makers sold the film citing to offer Akhil’s film if they fail to recover the investments.

Officer released last Friday and has been declared as the biggest disaster of Telugu cinema. The buyers are left shattered and will end up recovering zero from their investments.
One of the film’s buyers Subramanyam from Rajahmundry said that he was cheated completely. Speaking to the media, he said that, “I was in plans to produce a small budget film and it is during this time, RGV’s close aides took me to JD Chakravarthy’s office and forced me to buy Officer. They even offered me Akhil – RGV’s film if I don’t recover my investments. Though I was not impressed with the teasers and the trailer, I was forced to buy the film. Now they are out of reach and I am asked to pay the QUBE charges for the film. Suicide is the only option left for me.”
Well, we hope Nagarjuna or Film Chamber members may come to his rescue to help him.
The film Officer is the latest 2018 Telugu action crime project produced bland directed by Ram Gopal Varma on his R Company production banner. The director has been teaming up with the actor after almost two decades, and this movie marks their fourth-time collaboration. The film stars Nagarjuna Akkineni and Myra Sarin in the lead roles. Officer Review
The story revolves around the investigation of a fake encounter done by a police officer called Narayan Pasari. Shivaji Rao is appointed as the investigative officer for this fake encounter, and while he starts chasing down the mystery behind the fake encounter, he encounters a lot of problems. What are those? How did Shivaji Rao finally wins over Narayan Pasari? Did Shivaji finish the investigation successfully? Forms the story of the film.
Performances:
Nagarjuna Akkineni has delivered an excellent performance in the film. As a police officer, he has played his part very well and shows the difference in his performance when compared to those in his previous roles. Every scene involving Nagarjuna has come out well. Myra Sarin, on the other hand, made her debut with this film and had got good marks regarding her performance as well as looks. Baby Kavya is impressive and has done her part very well. The other actors like Shiyaji Shinde, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Ajay, Feroz, Abbasi are decent in their roles. The actor who played Narayan Pasari is good and tried his best to be the baddie.
Writing department:
Nagarjuna in Officer
Ram Gopal Varma himself has penned the story screenplay and dialogues for the movie. The story has got some uniqueness, but the screenplay has lead down the execution part. The conversations for the film are good, but at times they looked forced and artificial.
Technical Aspects:
Cinematography by Bharath Vyas is neat. The framing is beautiful, and Ram Gopal Varma has used his experience in coming up with some of the best frames in the movie. The lighting has been exceptional too. The editing by Anwar Ali and R Kamal is just okay. Some of the scenes could have been chopped off. The music by Ravi Shankar is good regarding the background score. The background score elevated the action sequences very well. The production values by R Company is luxurious and grand.
Verdict:
The film Officer could have been made as a thriller, but the director has chosen to make it a drama. The film did not have enough story to appeal to the audiences, but the director tried his best in coming up with an exciting cat and rat drama. The storyline is interesting, but as it progresses, there is no scope for further storytelling in the movie. As a result, the second half of the film falls flat and starts testing the patience of the audiences. The first half is much better when compared with the second half. On the whole, the film is nothing but a disappointment for the viewers and Nagarjuna fans who are expecting that this collaboration is going to recreate the magic of Shiva.
