Popular Tamil director Mysskin who made his directorial debut in 2006 with Chithiram Pesuthadi is in the news now. The director who made some notable films like Anjathe (2008), Nandalala (2010) and Onaayum Aattukkuttiyum (2013) is being slammed now for making some comments on Mollywood megastar Mammootty. The director made the comments during the teaser launch event of Mammotty’s film Perambu.

“If there’s any other actor in the place of Mammootty, he would have done over action but Mammootty did very well in the film. “I would have raped Mammootty if he is a girl”, says director. Please don’t get me wrong but I am trying to praise his performance skills.” said Mammootty.

The fans, media, critics and some people from the film fraternity are finding wrong with his rape comments.

Abhirami is a model and a trained Bharatanatyam dancer. She is also the granddaughter of famous hero and director Kannada Super Star Ravichandran, who acted in over 100 films. She was impressed by the performance of her grandpa and has been longing to step in the film industry. Even though Ravichandran’s son tried his luck as a hero a few years ago, he wasn’t successful in his attempts and got vanished within no time.

Tamil director Mysskin after hearing through a model coordinator, approached Abhirami and took a screening test and offered her an actress role in his new project and she immediately gave her nod for the project. As there is another heroine with the same name, Mysskin changed her screen name to Tanya. Currently, Mysskin is directing a film starring Vishal and Rakul Preet Singh. He would start working on Tanya’s launch pad after this movie. A financier’s son Mythreyi will play the protagonist in this project.

Abhirami is aware that background supports to get the First Chance, but Talent is important to Fit in Industry. Till the shooting starts, Tanya will be doing her post graduation in Social Works.

Rakul Preet Singh, the most sought after actress in Tollywood, is said to be gearing up to make a strong comeback to Tamil Film Industry.

Latest reports suggest that Rakul Preet Singh is in talks to play a female lead in Vishal’s new film titled ‘Thupparivalan’. Acclaimed Mysskin will direct the film.

It may be noted that Rakul Preet made her Tamil film debut alongside Arun Vijay with ‘Thadaiyara Thaakka’ in the year 2012. After acting in few more films, Rakul realized that she was unable to leave an impact on Tamil audience. Post migrating to Tollywood, Rakul found stardom, and she currently has movies alongside stars.

With the newly found confidence, Rakul feels it is the right time to make a strong comeback to Kollywood. She is ready to sign the film after knowing that Mysskin is the director, whose films have heroines playing an equal role with heroes.
