Megastar Chiranjeevi is coming back again with a historic action drama of pre-Independence era, called Syeraa Narasimha Reddy. The shoot of this film was wrapped up a couple of months ago and currently, the post-production works are happening at a rapid pace.

The makers are planning to release the theatrical trailer of the film either during the SIIMA Awards event which is going to be held on the 15th and 16th of August or on the 22nd on the occasion of Chiru’s birthday. It is being heard that the film’s trailer will be played with Saaho in many theatres across the nation.

Saaho is a big-budget movie which is realizing amidst a lot of anticipation and many people around the country will watch it in the theatres. Playing the trailer with such a film is a good idea from Syeraa makers, as it will help them to get recognized in the northern circuit. Syeraa is slated to release on October 2.

Megastar Chiranjeevi will be starting a new film with director Koratala Siva soon. This film is in pre-production stages since a ling time and it didn’t go on floors as Chiru still didn’t get done with the works of Syeraa Narasimha Reddy yet. Currently, Koratala is busy in finalizing the rest of the cast and crew.

Just like the previous films of Koratala, even this movie will be a message-oriented one. Now, the latest buzz revealed that the story runs in the backdrop of Naxalism. Chiru has never done any film dealing with Naxalism and it will be interesting to watch him in this kind of film.

Chiru will be seen in two different roles, Govinda and Acharya respectively. The female lead of this movie is yet to be finalized. Apparently, this project will be launched on the 22nd of August, on the occasion of Chiru’s birthday.

We are already aware that Megastar Chiranjeevi is working with star director Koratala Siva for his next film. The film is currently in the pre-production stages and it will mostly be launched in October. Meanwhile, Koratala is busy in finalizing the cast and crew of the movie.

The Mirchi director is trying hard for a long time to find a suitable heroine for this film. A lot of names like Anushka, Nayanthara, Shruti Haasan, and Aishwarya Rai came up but none of them has been finalized for the film. Now, we hear that Koratla is planning to rope in Kajal as the leading lady of this movie.

Kajal has acted with Chiru earlier in the film Khaidi No: 150. Apart from Kamal Haasan’s Bharateeydu 2, she didn’t sign any other project till now. Maybe that is the reason why Koratala is considering Kajal as a heroine as her dates are available. Anyways, let us wait for an official confirmation regarding this news.

Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law Kalyan, husband of younger daughter Sreeja, is set to make an entry into films. As per the reports, Kalyan is said to have gone through a formal training in acting for about three months in the Naval town of Vizag. It is also being said that father-in-law Mega Star Chiranjeevi himself is closely monitoring the developments regarding Kalyan’s acting debut.

Satyanand, a yesteryear actor and a trainer in acting, was approached by Chiranjeevi regarding Kalyan and was asked to train him in acting, for which Satyanand agreed to. However, Kalyan will become the 10th member from the Mega family to enter the Telugu film industry if everything goes as planned.

The film is another commercial film but it has got a period drama to it and moreover, the film is a biopic on the life of the freedom fighter Uyyyalawada. Surender Reddy is the director of the film while Ram Charan is producing it on Konidela Productions Company.

There are several rumours that Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan and other actors will be a part of the film but there is no proper confirmation about the same. Meanwhile, the latest rumour is that Kannada hero Sudeep is going to be seen in a key role of the film. As of now, the makers did not arrive at a conclusion on finalising the artists and the complete details will be out soon.
