Vishnu Manchu has become a proud father for the second time. His wife Veronica has given birth to a baby boy on 1st January.

A few days ago, Manchu Vishnu revealed, “Most of them are saying that I should be blessed with a baby boy to get an heir. I already have two heirs, Ariaana & Viviana. So the next one (Boy or Girl), will be the third heir. It doesn’t need to be only a boy to take the family legacy forward.”

On Twitter and on the New Year’s Eve, Vishnu posted, “Ok. Now it’s time to welcome the newest member in our family. Veronica brought into the hospital. Fingers crossed. Heart racing.” and finally confirmed that, “It’s a Boy!!!!!!!!”

Well, we congratulate the Manchu Couple on the new bundle of joy and happiness!

Manchu Mohan Babu is currently playing the lead role in the film Gayathri. The film also has Vishnu and Shriya Saran in the key roles. Nikhila Vimal is playing Mohan Babu’s daughter in the movie and the film is about the relationship between father and daughter. Meanwhile, the interesting buzz is that Vishnu joined the shoot of the film yesterday where Nandamuri Balakrishna has surprised the film unit by paying a visit to the film sets.

“Started shoot for #Gayatri from today. Got a visit from the one of my fav person to the set! My anna Balakrishna. Blessed me and spent enough time to make us all high! Wish I could tweet the photo; but not allowed to.” Vishnu posted on Twitter and revealed his happiness. The film is directed by Madhan who earlier made Pellaiana Koththalo.

Manchu Vishnu has taken a serious exception to the recent comments by GVL Narasimha Rao, BJP’s national spokesperson. GVL had said that most Indian film stars have a low IQ and general knowledge.

Vishnu on Monday tagged GVL on Twitter and said, “Dear @GVLNRAO If most of the FilmStars have very low IQ and low GK, are most politicians corrupt and thugs? Don’t forget some of the greatest politicians of our country were film stars. Sri.NTR, Sri.MGR, Kum.Jayalalitha just to name three. One doesn’t need to have very high IQ or very high GK to express an opinion.”

The Manchu hero also said that he subscribes to Hindutva. “I am a Hindu and I am married to a Christian. I strongly believe and practice Hindutva and I am proud to say it. I say this because what I said ain’t political. I respect BJP immensely and am a fan of Modiji. Respect!”

Manchu Mohan Babu has proved his sweet heart yet again by acknowledging the help done by Malaysian government regarding Manchu Vishnu.

Vishnu, Brahmanandam and the entire team of Achari America Yatra are in Malaysia to shoot some action sequences. The other day, Manchu Vishnu got severely injured in a bike chase. He has immediately rushed to the nearby hospital. Immediately the Malaysian government responded and took great care of Vishnu. His father Mohan Babu took his Twitter to convey his vote of thanks to Malaysian Deputy Minister S K Devamany for his kind help. It is because of Devamany’s orders; the Malaysian government officials took Vishnu to the hospital in time.

With Vishnu’s accident, the shooting has been postponed for a couple of weeks. Vishnu is doing fine, and he escaped the danger with some minor injuries to his body.

While shooting for a bike race sequence in Malaysia for Achari America Yatra, Manchu Vishnu met with an accident and is now safe with minor injuries.

A source from the unit said, “As the schedule is involved of some crucial action sequences, the bike got skid and that’s how the accident has taken place. He had been immediately rushed to Putrajaya Hospital there and he is out of danger now. The shooting schedule is for 25 days now, and we are not sure whether the shoot will be postponed later or will be continued. It all depends on the health condition of the actor.”

Directed by Nageswar Reddy, the cast and crew of Manchu Vishnu and Pragya Jaiswal starrer Achari America Yatra has been shooting in Malaysia for 15 days till now after completing two massive schedules in Hyderabad.

Recently, Vishnu had posted a couple of pictures from the sets in Malaysia in his social media account. After this schedule the team will move to the US for a lengthy and final schedule. The film is produced by Keerti Chowdari and Kittu. They have decided to make the superhit novel of Veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao ‘ Achari America Yatra’. For the role of Achari, they have decided to rope in Comedy King Brahmanandam as the guru for Vishnu. The movie will be shot in America with Vishnu and Brahmi in key roles. Achari is also the character name of Dasari in his flick Swargam- Narakam. We have seen the combination of these two in the flicks like Dhee, Denikaina Ready, Doosukeltha etc.

As of now, this flick is in the pre-production stage. Once they lock the script, the team will go the US to start the major part of the shoot with the main casting.

Story

Lucky (Manchu Vishnu) is a guy who never experienced what luck is and always befriend bad luck as his fate. He falls for Positive Padma (Hansika Motwani) at first sight and decides to marry her which is “Marriage at first sight”. He follows her, teases her and finally makes her fall for him. He is branded as a unlucky guy by his friends, family and anyone who know him. He is ready to do anything to turn his bad luck into real good luck and comes across a situation which changes his life and makes him lucky. What is that situation? How he turned lucky? forms the rest of the story.

Cast and Performance

Manchu Vishnu is good in his role and he is nice in comedy timing. Hansika Motwani is gorgeous in songs and good in her okayish role. Vennela Kishore is good as boss of Manchu Vishnu and Prabhas Seenu is also good in his role. Posani Krishna Murali is humorous in his role. Thanikella Bharani, Raghu Babu, Satyam Rajesh and others artists are good in their roles.

Writing Department

Story of Luckunnodu is simple and good. Screenplay is mediocre with some twists in between. Dialogues are full of rhyming tone and punching.

Technical Departments

Music composed by Achu Rajamani and Praveen Lakkaraju are good. Background score is okay and do not help the movie for it’s content. Cinematography is good and some visuals are well shot. Editing could have been a lot better. Art work is good and production values are good.

Verdict
Luckunnodu begins with a bank robbery and revolves around the money involved in it. This half goes on with some comedy scenes which fail to make audience laugh and some teasing scenes of Vishnu Manchu and Hansika Motwani and songs in between. This half is so boring and do not have anything to entertain and even small guest appearance of Mohan Babu in a song do not save it. Only positive thing about this half is the twists that come up at the interval. These twists have created necessary curiosity for the second half. With an interesting twist at interval point audience get curiosity to watch more such interesting moments in the second half but it disappoints except for some twists. It runs with the comedy of Posani Krishna Murali, Fish Venkat and others. For audience who expect some relief in second half after seeing boring first half, it becomes more pathetic. Director Raaj Kiran who entertained us with his Geethanjali is in a disappointing spree with then Tripura and now Luckunnodu. He made a mediocre movie with an interesting line. Diamond Rathnababu who wrote the screenplay and dialogues for this movie focused more on punches rather than situations which at times dilutes the emotion of the scene. To sum up, Vishnu’s luck should save this Luckunnodu.

Mohan Babu is one straight forward person among all heroes in Telugu Film Industry. He is known for his discipline and warnings. He always warns people on stage despite without any fear. Yesterday, its Vishnu’s turn to take the warning.

The theatrical trailer which was released by Mohan Babu looks like typical commercial entertainer like Vishnu’s previous movies. Again Vishnu is pairing up with Hansika to repeat the magic of ‘Denikaina Ready’. Vishnu’s comedy timing with much-needed action is the main highlight of the trailer. Hansika looks so glamourous as ever. This trailer has all the commercial elements like intense action sequences, songs, and comedy. Actor Manchu Vishnu, who scored a hit with his last release, Eedorakam Aadorakam, has announced the release date of his next film, ‘Luckunnodu’.

The film’s shooting was wrapped up on this Wednesday and makers have announced February 3 as the release date. Vishnu has his lucky charm Hansika playing his romantic interest in this romantic comedy. The duo has earlier teamed up for ‘Denikaina Ready’ and ‘Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda.’ While the first one was super hit, the second film proved to be an average affair. Makers hope that the pair will deliver another profitable venture.

Raj Kiran, who directed horror comedies like Geethanjali and Tripura, has directed Luckunnodu. The film’s teaser has already made good noise. Songs composed by Achu will be released in January, and the film will hit screens on February 3.

The film will have to face stiff competition at box office as a number of films are slated for release around that date.

After giving a glimpse of the six packs, abs of Ram Charan in the trailer, makers of Dhruva have the other day revealed the chiseled body of Charan.

The sheer dedication level of Charan can be imagined after looking at his sculpted body. This is a major transformation for Charan compared to his previous movies. We have already reported that noted trainer who had trained Salman and Aamir for Sultan and Dangal respectively has trained Charan to achieve this chiseled body.
