It wasn’t too long ago when a video of Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan engaging in an animated conversation backstage, at an event in Dubai raised many eyebrows.

Now, according to reports, the two have struck up a ‘close friendship.’ Mahira, who made her Bollywood debut earlier this year in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’, was introduced to Ranbir by common friends from the film industry and they reportedly took a shine to each other almost immediately.

It is learnt that Ranbir was introduced to Mahira Khan at a party abroad and they reportedly instantly hit it off. A source close to Ranbir said, “Ranbir and Mahira met during one of their trips abroad and got along like a house on fire.They have stayed in touch ever since.”

They two appeared together on the red-carpet of Global Teacher Prize Ceremony in March in Dubai. The two rocked the red-carpet as they walked into the ceremony together. Their sizzling chemistry was evident to all. He listed her amongst the most beautiful women in an interview. However, Ranbir has evolved over the period of time and they have allegedly stayed in touch ever since.

There have been incessant rumors about Ranbir Kapoor’s personal life. He was rumored to be dating Pakistani actress Mahira Khan but has always denied it. BUT, We have sourced images of the duo vacationing in New York city while Ranbir was there filming for the Dutt biopic in July THIS YEAR.

These photos have been taken outside Mahira Khan’s hotel in New York City, and the alleged couple can be seen smoking. The alleged lovers seem to be engaged in a conversation as they smoke cigarettes.

Speculations have been rife about them being a couple since they attended the Global Teacher Prize Ceremony last year. They made a joint appearance at the Global Teacher Prize last year, and their chemistry was evident.

It is any debutante’s dream to be entering Bollywood opposite Badshah Shah Rukh Khan. And the opportunity was presented to very talented actress from across the border, Mahira Khan. At a recent event in Mumbai, SRK, when quizzed about his new co-star, said that he had seen her Telly work before and thinks that she a terrific actress. She suits the role and while their interactions during film’s narration, SRK was impressed by her.

Not only is keyed up with his upcoming Maneesh Sharma’s Fan, but is also thrilled about working with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mahira Khan in Raees. In the flick, he will don the role of a Gujarati blogger and Badshah feels this is a very earthy role for him, as it reminds him of his roots.

The Pakistani actress, who was loved and appreciated for her role in Pakistani serial Humsafar, Mahira Khan, is gearing for a dream Bollywood debut in Raees.

Reportedly, the lady has bagged a role opposite none other than, Bollywood Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan in his upcoming film, Raees. The film is one in which SRK will be seen in the role of a Mafia king, and ingénue, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be playing the cop.

Mahira and Fawad Khan’s chemistry was lauded by one and all in Humsafar. And after seeing her portrayal, the makers decided to cast her in the upcoming flick. The film will be going on the floors soon and other details about it are yet to be known.
