Mahesh Babu’s 23rd flick is going on at a brisk pace in some locations of Hyderabad. The latest update reveals the progress of this flick.

The incredible combination of Mahesh with director Murugadoss is raising enormous expectations all over. Touted to be a stylish action thriller, Murugadoss is taking it slow and steady for best output. After shooting in Ahmedabad, the team is canning some important sequences in Hyderabad. As of now, the shooting has been carried out in Ameerpet area for some crucial scenes with lead characters. Rakul and other character artists are present in this shoot.

This bilingual movie will be released in both Tamil and Telugu as straight versions. Four major production houses are bankrolling this high budget flick. Harris Jayaraj is scoring the music. The movie is slated for May release for Summer.

Interim, the shooting of Mahesh’s film is currently progressing in Ahmedabad. Key action sequences are being filmed on Mahesh and other principle actors. Rakul Preet Singh is playing the leading lady in this Telugu-Tamil bilingual. Makers are targeting summer 2017 release.

According to the latest updates, the movie’s satellite rights have been acquired by Zee Network shelling 26 Crores for the audio and satellite rights. This is by far highest for Mahesh Babu films. The Zee Network is also planning to get the satellite rights of other languages as well. Official confirmation is awaited.

Although makers agreed to pay the whopping amount quoted by Parineeti, she chose to walk out alleging clash of dates with her already signed Bollywood films. However, sources revealed that it was not the real reason. Parineeti has no notable biggies in Bollywood at the moment. She has 1 or 2 small films only. She must have rejected the film of Mahesh feeling that acting in southern films will damage her reputation, and her pay cheque will also be slashed by Bollywood filmmakers.

Parineeti must have forgotten that Kriti Sanon clicked in Bollywood only after pairing opposite Mahesh.

Putting an end to the rumors, the director AR Muragadoss has finally confirmed that SJ Surya is acting in his next film. AR Muragadoss is currently busy in giving the final touches to the script of Mahesh Babu’s next film. Tagore Madhu and NV Prasad are the producers for the movie. The makers wanted to produce the film in three languages mainly Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. Parineeti Chopra is expected to play the female lead in the film. There are rumors that Akshay Kumar will be playing the negative lead in the film, but the truth is SJ Surya is the antagonist in the film.

AR Muragadoss, on his Twitter profile today posted, “@iam_SJSuryah plays antagonist in my next. Looking forward to work with him.” For which SJ Surya replied that he is also equally excited about the film. The film will start from July 15th.
