The theatrical trailer of Ram Gopal Varma directorial Lakshmi’s NTR was dropped on the internet yesterday. Within no time, the trailer amassed millions of views, proving how interested are the audience in watching the film. One character from the trailer grabbed the eyeballs of many.

That is the role of Mohan Babu which appears for a second in the trailer. Recently, when he attended the audio launch of Kathanayakudu, Mohan Babu said that he is looking forward to seeing how Krish and Balayya portrayed certain persons in the film. Cut to Lakshmi’s NTR, RGV has directly included the role of Mohanbabu himself.

Though Mohan Babu maintained a friendly relationship with NTR, recently Lakshmi Parvathy made some serious comments on him. Thus, now curiosity is building up to see how his character has been portrayed in the film. Anyways, we have to wait until the film’s release to know the truth.

Varma portrayed the entire family of NTR in a negative shade in the movie. But none of the family members came out and talked about the trailer or questioned Varma on why he showcased them in such a way. There is a reason behind it. Legally, to make a biopic, the filmmaker has to take permission from the concerned person’s family and the first preferred person to grant it would be the wife of that person.

In this case, Varma got permission from NTR’s wife Lakshmi Parvathy. NTR married Lakshmi Parvathy legally and even if other family member’s file a case in the court to stop the release, it may not work out as RGV got permission from the main candidate herself. Thus, NTR family members are keeping quiet on the issue but few sources claim that there are trying every possible way to stop the release of the movie.

Rakesh Reddy under GV Films banner is bankrolling this project. Kalyani Malik is scoring music for the film. RGV is claiming that he is going to release the theatrical trailer on February 22nd.
