Director Ram Gopal Varma created ripples in the industry by releasing the sensational trailer of his upcoming film Lakshmi’s NTR, the other day as a treat for Valentine’s Day. The trailer clocked over 4 million views within a day of its release. That shows the craze among the audience to watch this film.
Varma portrayed the entire family of NTR in a negative shade in the movie. But none of the family members came out and talked about the trailer or questioned Varma on why he showcased them in such a way. There is a reason behind it. Legally, to make a biopic, the filmmaker has to take permission from the concerned person’s family and the first preferred person to grant it would be the wife of that person.
In this case, Varma got permission from NTR’s wife Lakshmi Parvathy. NTR married Lakshmi Parvathy legally and even if other family member’s file a case in the court to stop the release, it may not work out as RGV got permission from the main candidate herself. Thus, NTR family members are keeping quiet on the issue but few sources claim that there are trying every possible way to stop the release of the movie.
