Ram Gopal Varma’s latest film ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’ is still facing a lot of troubles for its release in Andhra Pradesh. RGV announced that the film will be simultaneously releasing in both states, but Election Commission has requested to put the film on hold for the elections.

After elections, RGV planned for a press meet and he couldn’t manage to conduct that event too. After a lot of fighting the film got a release date and now it seems like even that is not possible. Now, the news reveals that the election commission has ordered that the film cannot be released until the 19th of this month as a few places in AP like Chandragiri are going into re-polling. So, looks like the film will only release post the results of the election which will be out on the 23rd of this month.

Ram Gopal Varma’s recent film Lakshmi’s NTR had hit the screens worldwide on March 29th, except in Andhra Pradesh. The High Court of Andhra Pradesh ordered against the release of the film just a day before its release, citing the elections period of the state. It has given instructions to the makers to not release it until further notice.

Now, the elections are over in Andhra and the results will be out on May 23. Thus, there is no political heat in the state, the court has given permission to release the film. Thus, the makers have decided to release it in AP on May 1st. Ram Gopal Varma himself revealed the news.

But, most of the people in Andhra have already watched the film through piracy and we have to see how well will it fare over there by releasing now. On the flip side, few sources claim that makers have no expectations on the film’s performance and are only planning to mint some money by releasing it in the theatres.

Ram Gopal Varma is often considered as the care of address for the controversies. The filmmaker is now coming up with an exciting project titled as Lakshmi’s NTR. The film is due for a grand release on 22nd of this month and the makers are very much happy with the way the things are progressing around the film. The promotions are in full swing and the movie depicts some crucial incidents that took place in the life of Chandra Babu Naidu and NTR, after the entry of Lakshmi Parvathi.

Meanwhile, the crucial Viceroy Hotel scene from the film was leaked on the internet. The 5 minutes scene is currently doing rounds on the social media and it is still suspense about who leaked the particular sequence. As of now, the film unit did not comment anything on it.

Lakshmi’s NTR is one film that is steadily moving forward with the promotions. Master filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is certainly bringing the much-needed hype to the film with his tweets. Earlier, there were rumors that Shivam Celluloids brought the film’s distribution rights but RGV condemned that there is no truth in the news.

Now, RGV himself confirmed that a Bollywood production house NH StudioZ came forward to release the film in Telugu. In his tweet, RGV confirmed, “Thrilled to announce that NH STUDIOZ who distributed such big films like PINK, JAB HARRY MET SEJAL ,HALF GIRL FRIEND, TUBE LIGHT etc are now for the first time entering TELUGU with #LakshmisNTR. Releasing world wide on 22nd ..MORE POWER TO NTR”

The film is gearing up for a grand release on 22nd March.

As Balakrishna’s versions of NTR biopic have hit the screens and bitten the dust, everyone’s focus has now shifted to Ram Gopal Varma’s Lakshmi’s NTR. Already, there was a heavy anticipation build around it, all thanks to the promotions made by Varma only through his tweets.

The trailer has amassed more than eight million views on Youtube as well. Now, the makers have decided to release the movie on March 22nd, which is exactly a month after the release of NTR Mahanayakudu. Already, the pre-release business is going in a full swing and the makers are planning to release it in a big way.

Lakshmi’s NTR deals with the latter stages of NTR’s life and Lakshmi Parvathy’s role in it. Going by the trailer, it looks like RGV has taken a dig at all the family members of NTR. The film has Kannada actress Yagna Shetty reprising the role of Lakshmi Parvathy.
