Super Star Rajinikanth’s recent release Kabali has been doing exceptionally well now in the theaters. The makers are very much happy with the way the film has collected the revenues and still the Kabali storm is going on. Meanwhile, the trade experts have revealed that the movie received a total amount of 262 crores in the first week, and it slowed down in the second week. The Indian marker Nett is around ₹149 Crores, and the gross in Indian market is around 172 Crore rupees. Meanwhile, the collections of the overseas market is around 262 Crore rupees.

The collections have slowed down in the second week, and the producer of the film hoped that Kabali would cross the collections of Baahubali but now, it is going to be revealed that Baahubali record will be safe.

We all know that Superstar Rajinikanth is simple. Given his stature, it is worth talking about it. It is said that once when Rajinikanth was inside a temple in his usual simple dress, he sat down near a pillar for some time. A lady in her 40’s, who didn’t know about Rajinikanth, crossed the star actor. Looking at him, she mistook the star for a beggar and offered him 10 rupees to him.

After Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’ broke the records set by ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’, now it is the turn of ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ to break the records set by ‘Kabali’.

A month ago, ‘Kabali’ set the record in Kerala for a non-Malayalam film after its rights were acquired for Rs 7.5 Cr. Now, Baahubali 2 has comfortably crossed this mark after Global United movies, a noted film distribution company in Kerala, acquired the film’s rights by shelling out Rs 10.5 Cr, the highest for a non-Malayalam film.

Baahubali 2 made a mockery of Kabali record as the latter’s record did not last for even a month. Not just in Kerala but in almost every circuit except Tamil Nadu, Baahubali 2 is expected to beat Kabali pre-release business and set new benchmarks for other South Indian films.

The shooting of Baahubali 2 is currently underway at Ramoji Film City.

However, Kabali may not beat Baahubali in full run owing to bad reviews.

While Baahubali has done close to $7 million business in the US, Kabali has already touched the $4 million mark in just a few days. Trade expects that with at least average talk, Kabali could have beaten the Baahubali full run collections. However, Kabali has pushed Srimanthudu back to snatch the 2nd highest south Indian grosser rank in the US.
