Sensational film producer cum distributor Dil Raju is known for his good films in the industry. Very rarely he brings some dubbing films to Telugu and of those many have become hits. He has a good association with Mani Ratnam and in the same manner, he is now going to dub Mani Ratnam’s latest film in Telugu. Dil Raju will be producing Mani Ratnam’s Karthi starrer Kaatru Veliyidai in Telugu. The first look and the title of the film is going to be unveiled today. A new poster has been released in Tamil yesterday which impressed one and all.

Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari are playing the lead roles in the film. The makers are considering the titles like Duet and Aakasha Deshana. One of the titles will be officially announced today. The film is slated for a release in March 2017.

As per latest reports, commodities worth few lakhs of rupees were burnt to ashes after a fire outbreak in veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s office located at Abiramapuram in Chennai.

It is said that the fire department was alerted by neighbors within minutes after spotting the fire. Although the fire officials were quick to react, they failed to save many of the valuable commodities that were stashed inside the office. No casualties were reported but the fire accident caused a huge financial loss to the veteran director. The primary reason that caused the outbreak of fire is not yet known.As construction works were going on at the office, it is believed that the fire might’ve been caused due to a short circuit.

On the work front, Mani is currently working on Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari’s ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’.

The Bengaluru beauty actress Rukmini Vijayakumar has been roped for a role in Mani Ratnam’s upcoming flick, “Kaatru Veliyidai”. This Bharatanatyam dancer turned actress made her debut in the Kollywood industry through Bharathiraja’s “Bommalattam” and has acted in Ananda Thandavam, Kochadaiiyaan and was last seen in the Dhanush-Amitabh-starrer “Shamitabh.”

As for latest updates, Rukmini Vijayakumar is going to play an important role in this romantic drama film which is written, produced and directed by Mani Ratnam. The actress Rukmini has confirmed this news by saying “Yes, I am part of the film. But I cannot reveal any details about my role at the moment. But yes, I have begun shooting for my parts”. Starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead, “Kaatru Veliyidai” has music by A.R. Rahman and is being produced by Madras Talkies.

Mani Ratnam has recently announced his next film. Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari are playing the lead roles in the film. The latest buzz reveals that Suriya is very much happy about his brother acting in Mani Ratnam direction. In 2003, Suriya starred in Mani Ratnam’s Yuva and for this film, Karthi worked as assistant director. Now, after almost 13 years, Karthi is acting in Mani’s just launched romantic drama, Kaatru Veliyidai. This has been the best news for Suriya and Karthi. “My brothers dream film I can say! The much-awaited first look of Mani Ratnam’s film is finally out. The film is titled as Kaatru Veliyidai. Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari plays the lead roles. The music for the film is scored by AR Rahman. The fans are quite excited about the Mani Ratnam-AR Rahman collaboration, and this is not the first time they are teaming up. Going by the first look of the film, the director has cleverly inserted the concept of the movie in the poster itself. The film looks like a love story with India-Pakistan border at Kashmir as a backdrop.
