We are already aware that legendary director Mani Ratnam is making epic novel Ponniyun Selvan as a feature film for his next project. He is roping in huge stars from all over the country to play key characters in this period drama. He himself is producing the flick under his banner Madras Talkies.
Already, Mani roped in stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Karthi, Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Mohan Babu, Keerthy Suresh and Trisha for the film. Now, apparently, Mani has signed up another popular actor Satya Raj has joined the project. Satya Raj is popularly known for his portrayal of Kattappa in the film Baahubali.
As he became a pan-Indian actor with Baahubali, the inclusion of Satya Raj will be a huge addon for Ponniyun Selvan. Mani is planning to take this film on floors by the end of this year. AR Rahman is composing the music for this movie.
