The IIFA awards event ceremony took place in a grand manner on Sunday night. Tumhari Sulu grabbed the maximum awards at the event. Nawazddin Siddiqui dedicated his award to the deceased actress Sridevi with whom he worked in the film MOM. Rekha’s live performance is said to be the major highlight at the event. The first edition of IIFA Utsavam of South 2016 was held in a grand manner in Hyderabad on 24th & 25th of January. The event was a glamorous and glittery with most of the actors and actress from the southern film industry attending. Here is the list of winners of IIFA Awards of Telugu for the year 2016.

Mahesh Babu and Shruti Hassan starrer Srimanthudu has managed to beat Prabhas, Anushka and Tamannah starrer Baahubali in the Telugu category. Srimanthudu bagged six awards and Baahubali managed five.
