Is This Daggubati Lad Making His Debut As A Hero?

Popular producer Suresh Babu’s younger son and actor Rana Daggubati’s younger brother Abhiram Daggubati planned to make his entry into films a few years ago. But his issue with Sri Reddy has created a few problems and apparently, Suresh Babu felt that it is not the right time for him to make his debut.

After taking a break for a while, Abhiram recently forayed back into the industry and looked after the production matters of Oh Baby. We hear that now Suresh Babu is making plans to introduce Abhiram as a hero. It seems that he asked actor turned director Rahul Ravindran to pen a script for Abhiram.

Rahul is currently busy in the promotions of Manmadhudu 2 and he is expected to work on this new project. Most likely, Suresh Babu will be bankrolling this flick as well. Stay tuned for more updates on it.

“This year marks a milestone for the Marvel Cinematic Universe as it turns 10 and to add to the excitement, we are releasing Avengers: Infinity War – the biggest Super Hero crossover one has ever seen. There isn’t anything bigger, more exciting and thrilling in the Super Hero realm, with all the Avengers, The Guardians of the Galaxy and their allies coming together to defend the universe from Thanos, which itself proves just how powerful he is. Keeping with the anticipation around the movie, we are offering our fans in South India an opportunity to experience the grandeur of the movie in a language that they prefer. With Rana Daggubati coming on board as the voice of Thanos, we are confident of reaching out to a wider audience base while retaining the magnitude and staying true to the ethos of the Marvel brand,” said Bikram Duggal, Executive Director and Head, Studio Entertainment, Disney India.

Actor Rana Daggubati, adds, “I’ve grown up reading Marvel Comics and Marvel movies with their intricately woven story lines have been some of my favourite movies to watch. It is fascinating to see how Marvel has created characters and stories that resonate so well with audiences across the globe, making movies at a scale that one had never before imagined. Characters such as Iron Man and Captain America have been my favourites so dubbing for Avengers: Infinity War is a thrill! Voicing for Thanos, a villain so powerful that some of the biggest superheroes have a tough time dealing with, is an exciting experience!”

Disney India continues setting new standards for Hollywood in India. It was followed by roping in Varun Dhawan for Captain America in the movie Captain America Civil War. It wasn’t short of a casting coup! With a series of ground-breaking and unique localisation initiatives, these movies set new benchmarks and took over the box-office in India. Come April 27th, Disney is all set to take over the cinematic universe, yet again, with the phenomena that is Avengers: Infinity War.

Rana wishes not to die on film sets!

Rana Daggubati

Handsome hunk, Daggubati Rana mentioned that he has a wish. He further explained that his wish is that he shouldn’t die on the film sets. Speaking about this, Rana mentioned that he got almost drowned in Goa, while shooting for a Bollywood venture.

“Dum Maro Dum” is the film which was shot in that region. It seems that Rana has to swim in a sequence. He is taking few takes for that episode and at one point of time, he told that he was not able to swim forward.

It seems that the current of the water changed and is opposite to that of Rana. He struggled hard and has almost given up his hopes on life. It seems that not even a single film crew were there in that spot to help him, as he was inside water. Finally, he got a support in the form of a rope which was tied by fishermen. With that, he survived. After this, Rana decided that he should take all sorts of precautions before working on a scene.
