Versatile actor Dhanush has made some memorable films with director Vetrimaaran like Poolandhavan, Aadukalam and Vada Chennai. Now, the duo has teamed up for another intense thriller called Asuran. Dhanush will be seen in a full-bearded middle-aged avatar in the movie.

The shoot of this film has been wrapped up recently and is currently in the post-production stages. A while ago, the makers have officially announced that the film will hit the screens worldwide on October 4th coinciding the festive weekend of Dusshera. Both Dhanush and Vetrimaaran are planning to score another success with this film.

Malayalam actress Manju Warrier played the female lead role in the movie. This is the first time show worked with Dhanush. The film’s music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar. Asuran is being bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thanu under his banner V Creations.

‘Sarvam Thaala Mayam’ is an upcoming Tamil musical film in which music director GV Prakash Kumar is playing the lead role.

Rajiv Menon is helming this project and the movie has been carrying a decent pre-release buzz. Aparna Balamurali is playing the female lead in this movie. Kollywood star hero Dhanush has unveiled the trailer of the film today. The trailer gives us a glimpse at the story. It seems like the plot of the film is about Peter (GV Prakash) who struggles to learn Mridangam as he comes from a discriminated caste but yet manages to become a star. Music by AR Rahman is undoubtedly going to be the highlight of the film. The trailer video has greatly impressed the audience and increased the expectations on the movie that is releasing on February 1st 2019.

Amyra Dustur is the young Telugu heroines who made her grand debut with the film Manasuku Nachindi in the direction of Manjula Ghattamaneni. The actress has impressed everyone with her cute looks and performance and look forward to more good offers. The Mumbai beauty is said to have signed a new Tamil film right now. G V Prakash Kumar is playing the lead role in a film directed by Adhik Ravichandran and the film is said to be a fantasy love story. The actress is going to be a part of the project in the leading lady role.

Earlier G V Prakash and Adhik Ravichandran have teamed up for the film Trisha Ledha Nayantara. This is the second time collaboration after the super successful movie. She made her Tamil debut with the film Anegan with Dhanush playing the lead.

On the other hand, the actress also has another movie for release which is titled as Raju Gaadu in Telugu. Raj Tarun is playing the male lead in the film.

The Ockhi cyclone that hit the shores of Tamil Nadu has affected the lives of the people of Kanyakumari to a very great extent. As an initiative towards relief measures for the affected fishermen and farmers in Kanyakumari, actor-music director G. V. Prakash Kumar has joined hands with Edudharma.

Edudharma is an internet crowdfunding community that has been providing help to the needy. G. V. Prakash has now teamed up with Edudharma and is said to have collected Rs 15 lakh through crowdfunding.

The plan is to provide ration for the people in the cyclone-hit areas with a relief of Rs.2,000 per month for 500 families. Kudos Prakash Kumar.

Another person from AR Rahman’s family is turning producer now. AR Rahman’s sister and music director G V Prakash Kumar’s mother A R Reihana is turning producer. She is all set to venture into production through Yogi and Partner production house with host-actor-director Vignesh Karthik’s Yenda Thailaiku Yenna Vekkala. She is planning to enter production from a long time and finally with some of her friends, she is starting it now.

Yenda Thailaiku Yenna Vekkala is a dark comedy with Azar and Sanchita Shetty in the lead roles. She is also composing songs for the film. She roped in on Vignesh Karthik as the director for the film. Top actress Samantha has unveiled the motion poster of young Tamil music director turned hero GV Prakash Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Naku Inko Perundhi’.

GV Prakash is romancing his ‘Trisha Leda Nayanatara’ co-star Anandi, a Telugu actress, in this movie. He hopes that their chemistry will once again make the magic on silver screen. He thanked Samantha for unveiling the motion poster.

He is not only acting in the film bust also scoring music. Shyam Antoni is the director. It may be noted that the title is derived from superstar Rajinikanth’s blockbuster film ‘Basha’. GV’s character name in the movie is ‘Jaani’, another resemblance to ‘Basha’.

The motion poster is receiving good response from the viewers. But, a section of viewers are not happy with GV for trying to imitate Rajinikanth in this film.

As per sources, one of the top actresses of southern cinema, Samantha, has been approached by the makers of ‘Bruce Lee’ movie to play the female lead. Now, don’t get confused since Rakul Preet Singh is already playing the female lead in Ram Charan’s new film under the direction of Srinu Vytla, for which ‘Bruce Lee’ title is under consideration. We have recently informed that young Tamil music director turned hero GV Prakash Kumar’s new film is titled ‘Bruce Lee’. Sam has been approached for this film and the discussions are on.

It is not sure whether Sam will accept this offer or not since she has been offered a meaty role. GV Prakash has barely three movies to his credit but he wants to create a market in Telugu as well. It has to be seen will Sam graces him or not.

It is known that Mega power star Ram Charan is currently shooting for a new movie in the direction of Srinu Vytla. Makers have been considering ‘Bruce Lee’ as a possible title but it has not been officially announced yet. Charan is romancing Rakul Preet Singh in this action comedy. Kriti Kharbanda is essaying Charan’s sister role. There is news about Chiru’s possible cameo in the film although it has not been announced officially yet.

GV Prakash Kumar is one of those talents that took the industry by storm with his music and vision. After making an impressive debut in Veyyil, the young composer created many chart toppers for the Kollywood fans’ delight, and has just now moved on to yet another phase of his career – acting.

He has starred in the upcoming flick Pencil, opposite Sri Divya, as a school boy no less and is currently waiting for the big release of the flick. He has also started working on his next project as an actor , the curiously titled Trisha Ilana Nayanthara.

But it is neither of these films that we are talking about. It is the one after that, that is at the centre of our story.

Reports indicate that talks are on with none other than newbie composer Kuralarasan, the brother of actor Silambarasan aka Simbu, to compose the tunes for this yet untitled film! It is worth mentioning that Kuralarasan’s first movie as a composer is the Simbu – Nayantara starrer Idhu Namma Aalu which hasn’t come out yet!

Boy, he must have made some kind of impression on some of the right people in the industry to get this offer so soon. In Idhu Namma Aalu, Kuralarasan has gone that extra mile though to bring about all kinds of innovation and entertainment value possible.

Not only did he rope in Yuvan Shankar Raja to sing a western flavoured love song which he composed, he also has another song which features the vocals of Simbu, their father and producer of the flick – T Rajendar – and himself.

So maybe, the youngster is doing some things right and making the right noises, no pun intended.
