Amazon Prime has turned a boon and bane for the film’s producers at a time. The producers get huge revenue on the digital rights and sometimes when the film is doing well in the theatres, the Prime will stream the movie online. Now, it is the time for Prime to bring in two Telugu films on their site. Both the films released during Sankranthi.
F2 and NTR Kathanayakudu
Amazon Prime informed one of the users on Twitter yesterday about the release dates of both the movies on Prime. NTR Kathanayakudu, the first part of NTR biopic is going to be streamed on prime from tomorrow ie., February 8th.
At the same time, the Sankranthi blockbuster Fun & Frustration is also going to appear on Prime from 11th of this month.

The film has shown the domination at the USA box office even in the second week as well. As per the buzz from the trade experts, the movie has successfully surpassed the $1.5 million mark in the USA on Saturday. As of now, the film’s collections crossed $1.5 million and this is 23rd Tollywood movie to pull of this feat.
Interestingly, the movie is gearing up to reach the 50 crore mark at the regional box office. The film is all set to cross 50cr worldwide share and it is the Second time for Venkatesh after SVSC and the first time for Varun Tej.
Mega Prince Varun Tej is known for his unique selection of scripts in the film industry. So far, he attempted movies that are not similar to the ones he already did. In spite of facing few hiccups in between, the actor is determined of showing conviction in his selection of the scripts and portrayal of characters.

This unique quality made the director Harish Shankar approach Varun Tej for the antagonist role in his upcoming film which is said to be the remake of the popular Tamil film Jigarthanda. Initially, Varun was excited with the proposal and evinced interest to jump on board for the movie but he has now taken a final decision of backing out of the project.
Varun has been advised by his close quarters that it is still not a good time to experiment and play negative roles as he can get stereotyped easily. Even Varun also thought that he cannot match Bobby Simha who gained a National Award for his performance in Jigarthanda.
Now, Harish is having a tough time to convince Varun and get him back on the board. If Varun is firm about his decision, Harish will have to look out for an alternative.

Victory Venkatesh and Varun Tej starrer Fun & Frustration is certainly an exciting project in recent times. Anil Ravipudi is the director of the crazy multi-starrer and the movie is produced by Dil Raju. The film released last in the Sankranthi releases but is moving ahead with good collections.

Pataas and Supreme fame Anil Ravipudi, who is basking in the glory of his recently released action and romantic entertainer ‘Raja The Great’ starring Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and Mehreen Kaur Pirzada, is currently working on the script of his next upcoming saga. It is learnt that the project is a multi-starrer and will feature Daggubati Venkatesh .

According to the latest updates, the film has been titled as F2- Fun and Frustration. The project will be on the lines of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal’ series with a high dose of comedy. The actor asked him to develop the storyline while he finishes work on his next with director Teja. Meanwhile, the director will also finalise a young hero to co-star in the film.
