Ekta Kapoor is one of the popular filmmakers in Bollywood. She is a successful producer in TV and also movies. Apparently, she complained against a person Rajendar Singh sometime back to the cops that he is constantly following her for some months. Ektha revealed the cops that the person is following her at temple, gym, office, and all other places.

Though Ekta’s personal security confronted him and warned him multiple times, he did not listen and continued doing the same. The cops registered the case and caught Rajender Singh. They took his phone and started the investigation on how Ekta Kapoor’s whereabouts are revealed to him.

Ekta Kapoor is regarded as the queen of Hindi Television field. She is yet to get married. The 43-year-old filmmaker has become a mom now. Ekta Kapoor became a mom by Surrogacy procedure and the procedure is quite common in their family.

Earlier, Ekta Kapoor’s brother Tushar Kapoor also became a father through this method. Ekta Kapoor is popular actor Jitendra Kapoor’s daughter and she always makes sure that she arrives with something impressive and fresh on the television.

The biopic season is trending viral in the Indian film industry. As per the latest buzz, we have come to know that a biopic is going to be made on a sensational cricketer. After the biopics on Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni, it is the time now for the biopic on the life of the legendary cricketer and former Team India captain Sourav Chandidas Ganguly.

Sourav Ganguly has penned his autobiography which is named A Century is Not Enough. The biopic is now going to be based on the book. Balaji Telefilms are producing the film and Ekta Kapoor is the producer. She participated in the story discussions along with Ganguly. The film will focus on Ganguly’s career and some memorable moments in his life. More details about the project will be out soon.

After running into trouble with Central Board of Film Certification, Balaji honcho Ekta Kapoor is planning to turn towards the web, in order to put out more adult content. This comes on the back of Ken Ghosh’s movie XXX, which she was producing, getting into trouble with the CBFC.

A source close to Balaji films said, “After no help from the certification board, Ekta has planned to launch a new web channel to produce adult content. Ekta seems to have cracked the code to putting out good ‘adult’ content using the web. Previously, Ken, who claimed he was trying to level up explicit content in Bollywood was left shocked at the board’s reaction to it.

While, the board had asked the makers to re-edit the film and reapply for certification, there doesn’t seem to be a ray of hope for the movie so far. It’s to be seen if Ekta, taking XXX as the starting point, can capture the web market for adult content as well.

However, with no limitations from Censor board, Ekta decided to show the bold erotic content and this made many heroes falling into personal troubles with their real time life partners.

That Ekta Kapoor is looking to sue Mandana Karimi is old news, the producer has gone a step ahead and is using her clout with the channel to put across her message directly to Karimi in tomorrow’s episode.

The channel shares a great relationship with the production house, but Mandana’s breach of contract cannot be ignored. Even though the teams met for discussion, no mid-ground could be reached and hence Ekta has taken the last resort to go on National TV to put across her message loud and clear to the Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 star.

What’s interesting, is that it was Ekta who allowed Mandana to enter the reality show in the first place. The production house was extremely happy with her growing popularity, and looked at the reality show as an excellent platform to showcase her. However as agreed in advance Mandana was to come out of the house in time to promote the film. But now she is breaching the contract, and for that the production house is taking the legal route.

CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures, Aman Gill says “Mandana has become an audience favorite in the Big Boss House and we are very happy with her huge popularity and likeability. However our film is releasing next Friday and we need her to be a part of the promotions. We are going to do everything we can to get her out of the house, Ekta will be personally speaking with her via video call and Tushar will be entering the house today to share our displeasure with her, only after that will we know our next course of action.”

Now this is a development nobody saw coming! In startling news, Ekta Kapoor has filed a lawsuit against the makers of the Malayalam version of the super hit movie Drishyam, as that version was the ‘original’ one to be made.

What’s the lawsuit about, you ask?

Well, there’s a Japanese book called The Devotion of Suspect X, written by an author by the name of Keigo Higaashino, which has quite a cult following. And seeing the potential there and being the very able film and television producer and businesswoman she is, Ekta had bought the film rights for this book.

However, it turns out that the movie Drishyam maybe an unofficial, unauthorised adaptation of this book and quite possibly the writers of the flick borrowed heavily from it to formulate the plot of the movie.

Apparently, on hearing these rumours somewhere, Ekta’s team watched the movie and found many similarities between the literary creation and the film version. This alone would be grounds for a lawsuit as there has been an infringement of property rights against Ekta who shelled out money to make a movie based on the book on her own.

But what has happened here, that’s all the more damging to the interests of Ekta, is that the Malayalam movie was so successful that it got remade in to Kannada and Telugu too and both have been successes!

To make matters worse, the Tamil version of the film just launched with director Jeethu Joseph, who directed the original, at the helm and none other than Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan playing the lead role essayed by Mohanlal in the Malayalam version!

Kamal’s presence would make the already much talked about movie a pretty huge deal in Kollywood and it would also mean a far wider audience for the flick perhaps.

So if indeed the facts of the case as reported by the sources are true, Ekta is in quite a pickle and is hoping to get a settlement or compensation perhaps from the Malayalam producers of the movie, though this is just speculation at this juncture.
