These days, we are seeing many actors venturing into production and Malayalam star hero Dulquer Salmaan has joined this list now. The actor has announced his maiden production venture yesterday by posting an announcement about casting call for that film. He is yet to reveal the crew of the film.

The actor is planning to produce some quality film in terms of content, with this production house. He has now got nationwide fame and that will help his production ventures to do good business outside Kerala as well. Meanwhile, his latest Malayalam film Oru Yamandan Premakadha has hit the screens the other day.

Directed by B.C. Noufal, this film features Nikhila Vimal and Samyuktha Menon as heroines. Dulquer is also acting in a couple of Tamil films called Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal and Vaan and also a Hindi film called The Zoya Factor.

Dulquer Salmaan is the popular actor in South India who made his debut in Telugu with the film Mahanati. He made his Bollywood debut recently with Karwaan and is currently busy with second Hindi film with Sonam Kapoor. The actor is also planning to come up with another film in Telugu and it is going to be a multistarrer.

A popular production house in South is pulling out a plan to bring both Dulquer and Venkatesh for an exciting multistarrer. A new director is said to be in consideration to helm the megaphone for the movie. The script discussions are going on and the complete details about the project will be out soon.

On the work front, Venkatesh is currently busy with the multistarrer with Varun Tej which is titled Fun and Frustration.

Love for a star hero Dulquer Salmaan cost a man his life in Kerala. Yes, you heard it right. Going into details, Harilal, 45, fainted and died in the crowd that thronged to get a glimpse of the Karwaan Dulquer Salmaan in a reportedly ill-managed function at Kottarakara in Kollam district. It was alleged that Harilal died after a stampede broke into the mall.

Thousands of people gathered at the venue in Kottarakara where Dulquer inaugurated a shopping mall. Trapped among the thousand, Harilal started to feel uneasy and fainted. He was given a seat; however, considering his falling health, he was rushed to a hospital in a police van. He, however, died on the way to the hospital.

The Kottarakara Police have registered a case against the event organizers and further investigations are underway. This is reportedly Dulquer’s first public event in the city after his Bollywood film Karwaan’s release. A huge number of people arrived at the mall to catch a glimpse of him.

Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menon have paired up for a lot of interesting movies in Malayalam. One of the movies is Ustaad Hotel directed by Anwar Rasheed. Now after a long time of the original release, the movie is being dubbed in Telugu with the title Janatha Hotel. The film was supposed to hit the screens last year, but it did not.

In the past, the makers have finalized a title called Jathaga for the movie, but now they have changed the title to Janatha Hotel, and they are planning to release it very soon.

Suresh Kondeti who released a lot of dubbing films in the past is releasing the movie in Telugu. The film’s producer is hoping that the film definitely will become a big hit at the box office. Anwar Rasheed directed and produced this film under Anwar Rasheed entertainments banner. Gopi Sundar is the music director, and the movie is going to release in the last week of July or first week of August.

Solo is the 2017 bilingual experimental anthology art film written and directed by Bejoy Nambiar with Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role. Shot simultaneously in Malayalam and Tamil, the movie tells the story of four different people, each story revolving around four different elements: Earth, Fire, Wind and Water, each with the different facets of Lord Shiva. The movie opened to a positive response when it released on October 5th last year. Now, the movie is releasing in Telugu with the title Athade.

The film also stars Neha Sharma, Dhansika, Nasser, Suhasini and others in the crucial roles. Venkatesh Gajula is the producer of the movie. The film unit launched the audio album yesterday in Hyderabad. Raj Kandukuri launched the audio album at the event. Bhaskarabhatla and Poornachari penned the lyricist for the movie. Govind Menen and Prashanth Pillai scored the music for the movie.

After the release of the film Mahanati, a lot of people have come forward to openly appreciate the efforts of the film unit. Many people appreciated the director Nag Ashwin for coming up with a prestigious project on the legendary actress Savitri. Dulquer Salmaan and Parvathy starrer Charlie is being made as an interesting drama that impressed everyone. The film also bagged several awards by the Kerala state government. The film is now being remade in Tamil. The Malayalam super hit film grossed decent revenues at the box office which caught the attention of Tamil filmmakers. The film is now getting into Tamil as a remake and Madhavan will star in it playing the lead role. Parvathy will be reprising her role in this Tamil remake.

Lyca Productions will produce the film, and AL Vijay will be the director. AL Vijay made several hit films in the past and is currently busy with the film Abhinethri. Soon after wrapping up Abhinethri, he will start the untitled film. Already the script work is in progress. Madhavan is losing weight for this role as he put on much for Irudhi Suttru.

One film industry that is reinventing itself by making good films in South is Malayalam film industry. The subjects they are choosing and the films they are making have become an inspiration for budding filmmakers and business materials for many other filmmakers in the form of remakes. Actor Madhavan, who made his comeback to Tamil film industry, is now getting back with another film after the success of Irudhi Sutru.

Madhavan’s next project will be a Malayalam remake movie. He will be seen playing the lead role in the official remake of Super successful and award winning Malayalam film Charlie that released last year.
