The amazing combination of mega power star Ram Charan and the creative director Mani Ratnam is making the movie lovers go gaga. However, the movie is not going to materialize for some unknown reasons.

This movie was earlier planned as Cherry’s next after Dhruva but finally, the project got postponed due to a clash of dates between hero and the maker. Later, the duo has been interacted many times to discuss the script. Even though Charan liked the script, he is not daring to give his final nod looking at the flop show of Mani’s recent release Cheliya. On the other hand, the theme line is not impressing the Mega camp, so they say many changes to Mani Ratnam. Watching all this, some hardcore followers of Film Industry say that this project will not happen.

As of now, Mani is looking forward to making a movie in Bollywood starring the angel Aishwarya Rai and Charan is busy with the ongoing shoot of Rangasthalam-1985.

The same movie is also getting released in Telugu along with Tamil. Earlier it was titled as ‘Duet’ but recently they changed the name as ‘Cheliya’. Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari are the main leads in this beautiful feel good love story. Mani has taken great care about visuals in this movie. After a decade, he went out of India to shoot exotic locations. Now the makers of this movie have confirmed that this movie will be released on 24th March. The maximum shoot has been completed, and the movie is in post-production stage.

The music is scored by A R Rahman continuing his magical combination with Mani sir. This movie is bankrolled by Madras Talkies, a home banner of Mani Ratnam. In Telugu, Dil Raju is releasing this movie in both the States.
