Director Shankar is currently busy working on the pre-production work of his next movie titled as Indian 2 which will be releasing in Telugu as Bharateeyudu 2. Kamal Haasan is going to get back to his favorite character in the movie and director Shankar officially gave an update on the project now.

As per the information that was given by the director, the movie is going to have the regular shoot from this Friday. The first part of the movie released in 1994 and it fought on the corruption existing in the country.

Anirudh Ravichander is the music director of the movie. Kajal Aggarwal is playing the female lead in the film. Lyca Productions is the production house that is bankrolling the project.

Star comedian Vennela Kishore is currently busy with a handful of projects. He has played a key role in Amar Akbar Anthony and is also going to be a part of some crazy projects in the future.

If the buzz is believed to be true, Vennela Kishore is said to be a part of the much awaited sequel of Bharateeyudu. Director Shankar wanted a popular comedian from Telugu to be a part of the film.

Already, it is rumoured that the movie has Dulquer Salmaan, Simbhu and Kajal Aggarwal. Vennala Kishore’s inclusion will also help the project a lot. The pre-production work of the film started already and the makers are going to begin the shoot soon.

Neither Kishore nor the film unit confirmed this latest rumour but a formal confirmation is expected on the details of the cast and crew soon.

Kamal Haasan is busy in getting the official status for his political party right now. The actor was recently seen in New Delhi to meet the officials at the Election Commissioner office. As he completed all the necessary formalities, Kamal is now shifting his focus on to the movies. The actor has revived Vishwaroopam 2 and scheduled it for a release on the occasion of Independence Day.

Before he starts shooting for the sequel of Bharateeyudu, the actor wanted to complete the shoot of Sabash Naidu which he started and left midway. Kamal Haasan, Brahmanandam, Saurabh Shukla and Shruti Haasan are the part of the film’s cast. The film was initially supposed to be directed by someone else but Kamal took up the project and started it. With an injury, Kamal took a backstep and the project was halted midway.

Kamal will direct and produce the movie under his Raj Kamal International production house.

Bharateeyudu is the Tamil vigilante film written and directed by Shankar and produced by A. M. Rathnam. The film stars Kamal Haasan in dual roles with Manisha Koirala, Urmila Matondkar, Sukanya and Goundamani appearing in other pivotal roles. The movie released in the year 1996. The film focuses on an ex-freedom fighter turned vigilante bent on rooting out corruption. A sequel is on cards right now and the makers started the preparation for the same.

During the trailer launch of Vishwaroopam 2, Kamal Haasan gave an update on the project. The actor said that the second part of the film is going to be intense. “Bhrateeyudu is highly political and in the same manner, the second part of the film will also be an angry political film,” said Kamal.

Bharateeyudu is an interesting film starring Kamal Haasan in the lead. The film is directed by Shankar. The sequel for the movie is going to come on the big screen very soon. The latest update on the project is that the locations recce happened in Taiwaan on 26th of this month. There are multiple doubts on the project that it might not happen anytime soon.
