For the past few years, rumors have been suggesting that senior producer A M Ratnam, who produced the original, has been planning to make a sequel to it. Latest reports suggest that A M Ratnam has now got a go ahead.
Both Kamal Haasan and Shankar have agreed to work for the sequel after finishing their prior commitments. In his recent interview, A R Ratnam revealed that Shankar and he have personally met Kamal at his home to narratehim a line which was liked by the star.
Shankar will start work on this huge project after wrapping up ‘2.0’ starring Rajnikanth.
