Star producer Dil Raju is active in film production as well as film distribution. The star producer makes sure that he allocates time for both and strikes a balance between them. After failures like SPYder, Agnyathavaasi, Krishnarjuna Yudhdham and Mehbooba, the producer cum distributor is still unstoppable as a distributor who now grabbed the rights of a new movie.

The latest update is that he purchased the rights for the film Saakshyam starring Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas in the lead role. The entire theatrical rights of the film are with Bellamkonda now. Sriwaas is the director of the movie. Pooja Hegde is playing the leading lady in the film. Sharath Kumar, Meena and others are a part of the movie.

Abhishek Nama is producing the movie under Abhishek Pictures banner.

Producer Bellamkonda Suresh lodged a complaint with Banjara Hills Police alleging a person named Ashok Reddy has been issuing threats to him regarding financial issues.

Going into details, Song Shoot of ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’ happened at Annapurna Studios from December 26th to January 2nd. Contract for setting up lights have been given to a person and a payment of Rs 2.75 lakh was made to him.

However, Ashok Reddy claimed the contract belongs to him and demanded a payment of Rs 10.75 lakh from Bellamkonda Suresh. He also filed a complaint against the Producer in Madhapur and Banjara Hills Police Stations. And now, Bellamkonda Suresh lodged a police complaint accusing Ashok Reddy of pressurizing him and issuing threats. A case was registered and cops have begun the investigation.

Rumor is that Bellamkonda was the secret financier for his son’s second film ‘Speedunnodu’, which turned a disaster. But, Bellamkonda had reportedly made some good profits with this film by selling the distribution rights at high rates.

Irrespective of his financial situation, Bellamkonda is usually criticized by many for skipping or delaying the payments to actors and technicians.

In the past, hero Ram had complained about Bellamkonda after he skipped a part of his promised remuneration for blockbuster Kandireega. Manchu Lakshmi too had filed a case against him for not paying the rent of Gandharva Mahal after using it for Rabhasa shoot.

“Rabhasa” producer is now facing tough time from Manchu Lakshmi’s people. As per the reports, “Rabhasa” film maker Suresh booked “Oo Kodathara Ulliki Padathara” film set for “Rabhasa”. It is known that this set belongs to Manchu Family and the film is giving this set for rent to the film units.

Suresh initially agreed to give 58 lakhs for the shooting in this set but he finally turned down the amount soon after the shooting. Buzz raised in the media that Suresh ignored or delayed the payment due to series of investments in the films. People who worked for this set are now taking this seriously.

They did Dharnas in front of Suresh’s house and the situation turned critical at one point of time. Police force entered the arena and shattered the angry mob. They stated that they won’t allow producer to release the flick until he settles the money.

Rakesh Roshan, the actor who is famous as an actor and as a producer, shot to fame along with his son Hrithik Roshan. Right from the debut flick of Hrithik, Rakesh Roshan produced several top rated ventures putting Hrithik in lead role. Now, the same is being seen in case of Bellamkonda Suresh.
