Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ is one of biggest releases in this year. The pre-release business was done for over 120 crores because of the hit Pawan-Trivikram combination. But, the movie failed at the box-office and producer faces huge loss with the flick Agnyaathavaasi.

Now it is heard that Trivikram returned Rs 10 crores to Radha Krishna to save the producers.

A day after Agnyaathavaasi released in movie theaters around the world, French director Jérôme Salle has claimed that after reviewing the film, he’s convinced that it is an unauthorized copy of his 2008 film The Heir Apparent: Largo Winch.
Legal Troubles for Agnyaathavaasi
He tweeted, “Agnyaathavaasi was written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas (A Aa). As I understand it, Salle caught wind of Srinivas’ alleged brazen plagiarism after Agnyaathavaasi was completed, without having received authorization for the use of his story.”
The tweet also noted that Agnyaathavaasi’s domestic Indian distributor T-Series would have to come to a settlement with Salle regarding his Largo Winch. But Salle responded with his own tweet, suggesting: “I’m afraid a settlement with T-series will not be enough. It’s not only about India. The movie Agnyaathavaasi has been released worldwide yesterday.”
What happens next will depend on whether and how aggressively Salle and his backers on Largo Winch pursue legal remedies.
As we know that, Pawan Kalyan’s anticipated movie Agnyaathavasi has been released across the world. Not only the fans of Power Star Pawan Kalyan but Agnyaathavasi was eagerly awaited by Victory Venkatesh’s fans too. And the reason is that Venky had played a special cameo in the movie. Both the stars had earlier shared screen space in Gopala Gopala.

However, Venky’s fans are disappointed after watching Agnyaathavaasi this morning. Venky’s scene, which was said to have been shot at a cafe as part of a fight sequence, has been chopped off in the final edit and Venky was only given a ‘Thank You’ credit in the beginning titles.
There is a strong buzz that Venky’s scenes will be added from Sankranthi, but there’s no official announcement in this regard.
Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi released on Wednesday. The film released big in the Telugu states as well as the Overseas. The buzz is that the film crossed the records of Baahubali The Beginning and Khaidi No 150 record at the box office in overseas. The much-awaited movie Agnyaathavaasi was released today. The film will have seven shows in cinema theatres here in Andhra Pradesh and five in Telangana. While the Andhra Pradesh government granted permission to the cinema halls to screen three special shows from 1 am to 10 am, in addition to four regular shows between 10 am to midnight, the Telangana government on Tuesday allowed theatres to screen a special show from 8 am.

Vinda (Boman Irani) is a business who built an empire in the name of AB. He has two wives and Abhishikth Bhargav (Pawan Kalyan) is a son from his first wife and Indrani (Kushboo) is his second wife. Although, Indrani is AB’s stepmother, she treats him very well like her own son. Vinda is murdered in business rivalries and it’s time for AB to know the culprits and seek the revenge. He is raised in a distant state due to the reasons Vinda have. Indrani ask him to catch the culprits and to look after the company. He joins as an employee in that company as no one knows him and rest is the story about how he avenge his father’s death and save AB group from rivalries.
Cast and Performance
Powerstar Pawan Kalyan who played the character of Abhishikth Bhargav did a super job. He is in almost every frame in first half and he is good in emotional sequences and action sequences. Kushboo as Indrani is nice. She has given a nice performance in this role. Boman Irani as Vinda is perfect. Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel do not have noteworthy characters but they are good in their own way. Rao Ramesh and Murali Sharma are superb. Aadhi Pinisetty has done a fantastic job in his character. Vennela Kishore is humorous. The new villain Parag Tyagi is good. Tanikella Bharani, Srinivasa Reddy and all other actors did their best.

Anirudh Ravichander who is getting into Telugu film industry as a music director has given a nice album. His background score is nice. Cinematography by Manikandhan is superb and the movie has some great visuals. Editing is okay but could have been a lot better. Action sequences are well composed and they surely impress fans of Pawan Kalyan a lot. Art department did nice work and production values are rich.

Agnyathavaasi is a story of a guy who is raised in a distant state as a back up plan to takeover the business after the founder’s death. As media articles are published, Trivikram Srinivas seems to be heavily inspired from the movie “Largo Winch”. Everyone expects a superb comedy and well written dialogues from him, but these elements are missing in this movie. A very flat first half and a second half where Trivikram Srinivas just relied on the mannerisms of Pawan Kalyan. His mannerisms may seem irritating to general audience as they are repetitive . The back stories narrated in the movie do not have necessary emotional impact. This movie might satisfy Pawan Kalyan fans but disappoint Trivikram fans. Just some enjoyable comedy tracks in second half and Pawan Kalyan are savers of the movie. To sum up, Agnyathavaasi fails to reach the sky high expectations with its flat screenplay.

Agnyaathavaasi is an interesting movie in the recent times. The fans of Pawan Kalyan are eagerly waiting for the film. The makers did not launch the theatrical trailer of the film and unofficially revealed that it would be out today. But, the latest update from the film unit reveals that the trailer launch has been postponed and it is not going to be out today.
