Young hero Naveen Polishetty marked his debut with the recent release ‘Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya’. Touted to be a comedy thriller, the movie became a super hit at the box office.
Nani to do Sequel
The movie is making big numbers in terms of collections. Debutante Swaroop RSJ helmed this project and has tasted success with his first movie itself. As per the latest updates, the director is now in plans to do a sequel for that film. If the buzz is to be believed, then the pre-production works are already started. On an interesting note, Natural Star Nani who watched ‘Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya’ movie before the release offered a film for the director. So, Nani is reportedly going to co-produce ‘Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya’s sequel. Rahul Yadav is also going to be a co-producer for this film.
The official announcement is yet to be made and currently, Nani is awaiting the release of his next ‘Gang Leader’ movie which is slated to hit the screens next month in August.

Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, which was released last week, has got a positive response from the audience and is running successfully across all the areas. Naveen Polisheety, the lead actor of the film, hosted a special screening to Adivi Sesh, Vijay Deverakonda and Tharun Bhasker this morning in AMB Cinemas.
Vijay Praises Agent Athreya
Both Vijay and Naveen are friends for a long time. They have worked together for the film Life is Beautiful as well. Vijay was enthralled with the success scored by his friend. Speaking to the media, after watching the film, Vijay said that he is there is no other hero in the industry such as Naveen.
“Naveen sent me the trailer of the film and got emotional. I told him that let us celebrate irrespective of the film’s result. Now, I am happy to see the film getting praised by everyone. Finally, one more guy from our gang has made his mark in the industry,” Vijay further added.

Story:
Agent Sai Srinavasa Athreya Review
Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya (Naveen Polishetty) leads a happy-go-lucky life in Nellore. He makes living with small cases he gets and waits for a bigger one. But, one day, things change and Athreya ends up in prison. While staying at the jail, he learns that his prison mate’s daughter goes missing. Athreya decides to solve the mystery. Why Athreya ended up in Jail? How he solves the mystery around him? What happens then? Forms the rest of the story.
Performances:
Despite being a debutant, Naveen Polishetty will definitely impress the audience with his outstanding performance in this film. Especially, his dialogue delivery and facial expressions are also really good. Shruti Sharma looked gorgeous in the film. The actress will definitely leave an impact on the audience not only with her beauty but also with her cute and honest performance. Also, her chemistry with Naveen Polishetty is beautiful to watch. Suhas has got an interesting role in this film and the actor breathes life into his character. Suhas delivered a decent performance in the film. Sandeep Raj also justified his role and acted naturally in the film. The rest of the cast also made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects:
Director Swaroop RSJ has prepared an interesting story with a comical touch for this film. The film will have some light-hearted and funny moments as well as some emotional and heart touching scenes and the director has handled them both really well. Even his pace of narration is also really good when compared to the first half. The director has succeeded in making the second half as interesting as possible. Production values by Rahul Yadav Nakka under Swadharm Entertainments banner are very high. We can see the producers have invested decent amounts without compromising in terms of quality. Music by Mark K Robin is outstanding. His catchy tunes made the movie even more beautiful. Cinematographer Sunny Kurapati has produced some sleek and bright visuals for this film. Editing by Amit Tripathi is also clean and neat.
Verdict:
The story itself is the highlight of this film. The solid story makes the audience engaged throughout the film. The movie starts off on an interesting note. The entire first half is light-hearted and extremely funny at times. The interval twist will also grab the attention of the audience. When compared to the first half, the second half is a bit serious and yet engaging. Good performances, interesting story, and engaging screenplay are the plus points whereas some scenes in the first half will be the minus points in the film. Overall, ‘Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya’ is a watchable suspense flick.
