Sudheer Babu’s forthcoming film directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti has been titled ‘Sammohanam’. The film has completed its shooting part and it will hit the silver screens on June 15. Actress Aditi Rao Hydari is the leading lady of the film.

Sammohanam is a coming of age love story which involves comedy, family relationships and emotional drama. Sivalenka Krishna Prasad is producing it and Vivek Sagar scoring the music.

The film has Naresh, Tanikella Bharani, Pavithra Lokesh, Rahul Ramakrishna and Nandu in other lead roles.

Talented director Mani Ratnam’s upcoming yet to be titled multi-starrer project is slated to go on the floors from March. It has already been confirmed that Fahadh Faasil, Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Aishwarya Rajesh and Aditi Rao Hydari are part of the cast.

According to latest reports, Fahadh has opted out of the project due to the delay in its commencement. Apparently, Fahadh’s dates with another project seem to clash with Mani Ratnam’s project, forcing him to exit. Neither the makers nor Fahadh have reacted to the rumors which have been doing the rounds over the last couple of days.

While A.R Rahman has been confirmed to compose music, Santosh Sivan will crank the camera in his sixth collaboration with Ratnam.

To be bankrolled by Madras Talkies, the film is expected to start rolling from February last week or March. There are rumours that the film also stars senior actors Prakash Raj and Jayasudha, who have collaborated on several occasions.

Actor Vikram, who was last seen sporting a thick beard for Tamil actioner “Irumugan,” has undergone a huge makeover now for his upcoming film. For the first time, Vikram will now be seen in a salt and pepper look for the role he will be playing in director Gautham Vasudev Menon’s upcoming spy-thriller “Dhruva Natchathiram”. This is surely going to be an interesting film for the actor and his fans. Vikram has got no big hit in the recent times, and this film is a must score film for him in his career.

A source close to the film unit has revealed that Vikram will be seen sporting the salt and pepper look for the most part of the film. The film’s shoot will commence later this week in Coonoor. Dhruva Natchathiram is tipped to be a high-octane action-thriller. The latest buzz reveals that Aditi Rao Hydari will be playing the female lead. The director initially considered Nayanathara for the film but now he will be going with Aditi Rao who recently starred in Mani Ratnam’s film.

As per latest reports, commodities worth few lakhs of rupees were burnt to ashes after a fire outbreak in veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s office located at Abiramapuram in Chennai.

It is said that the fire department was alerted by neighbors within minutes after spotting the fire. Although the fire officials were quick to react, they failed to save many of the valuable commodities that were stashed inside the office. No casualties were reported but the fire accident caused a huge financial loss to the veteran director. The primary reason that caused the outbreak of fire is not yet known.As construction works were going on at the office, it is believed that the fire might’ve been caused due to a short circuit.

On the work front, Mani is currently working on Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari’s ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’.

Popular Radio Jockey and actor Balaji, has just notched up an important role in Mani Ratnam’s yet-untitled next Tamil directorial. RJ Balaji shared this exciting news on Twitter, which read as,“And this did happen for real. Grew up watching his films n now to be part of a Maniratnam film. Feels like a dream”. He also shared a picture with Mani Ratnam.

After a successful venture as a radio jockey, Balaji acted in films like Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, Vadacurry, and Pugazh to name a few. His sense of humor and wit earned him a niche audience. He has recently bagged the SIIMA 2016- Best comedian award for Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. Balaji is tipped to be playing actor Karthi’s friend in this upcoming film of Mani Ratnam. The principal shooting of the project will commence from Friday in Ooty. To be produced by Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies, the film will have Aditi Rao Hydari as the female lead and AR Rahman will compose music.

Two months ago, Sidharth Malhotra got cosy with Brazilian model-turned-actress Izabelle Leite on a date at a Bandra hotspot. Izabelle looked very comfortable in Sidharth’s company but later tried to hide her face and make a quick exit when paparazzi arrived at the venue (Source : Mirror, March 8).

Sources from the sets of ‘Ek Villain’, revealed that the actor had developed a special equation with Shraddha Kapoor.

When contacted, Aditi sounded shocked when asked about her ‘friendship’ with Siddharth. She said, “Who told you this?” and when probed further by a prominent media house, she ended the conversation with a terse, “No comments.”

Siddharth remained unavailable for comment.
