Ilayathalapathy Vijay is one of the Star heroes in Kollywood film industry. The actor acted with many talented actors and also a lot of senior actors in South movie industry. Now, Malayalam actor Siddique made some sensational comments on Vijay. In a recent interview that he has given to a Malayalam channel, Siddique made these comments.

“Kerala audiences are lucky to witness great stars like Mammootty and Mohanlal. They are just not super stars but also great actors. We character artists are also leading a great life in films because of them. Every film industry will survive only because of the existing Star heroes of the industry. Vijay from Kollywood is a big super star but he is not a great actor. Stardom is giving him a survival. According to me, Kamal Haasan is a big star and also an actor.” said Siddique.

Currently, these comments are creating problem for the actor as Vijay fans didn’t like these comments coming from him. They already started trolling him.

Siddharth has slammed the Tamil Nadu Producers’ Council for giving special permission to a few movies including Vijay’s 62nd movie after declaring a complete bandh for the industry.

He expressed his anguish over the double standards of the industry with a tweet. But this didn’t go down well with Vijay’s fans and soon he was trolled for his step by Ilayathalapathy’s fans.

Siddharth tweeted: “Every single film is an equal challenge in today’s brutal cinema marketplace. If these special permissions to shoot are given to one, please give them to all producers. We are all the same. In the absence of equality and unity, god save us. #TamilCinema #Strike.”

Vijay’s fans on Twitter took it personally as they felt that he was attacking Ilayathapathy’s movie. They abused and trolled him and indicated that his words will have zero value.

Siddharth replied to the trollers in his own style and tweeted: “If you want to know what will not add 1 paisa value to Tamil Cinema, please read last 100 replies on my timeline. Filthy language, thevayillatha poison, sambandhamillatha kovam. Two sets of few jobless idiots spoiling everyone’s name and time. Paavam Vijay-Ajith.”

However, Tamil Nadu Producers’ Council had called for a complete shutdown of the industry from March 16 over its issues with the Digital Service Providers.

The entire Tamil film industry is currently very much distressed about the sudden death of the student named Anitha. She has recently committed suicide as she failed to get a seat in NEET examination. This has pushed everyone into a deep distress. Already, many students have begun protests over the same. Days after a senior woman journalist came under vicious attack from the self-proclaimed fans of Ilayathalapathy Vijay, the actor issued a statement condemning the incident and requested his fans not to share “hurtful and wrong views” about women on social media.

“I respect women a lot. Everyone has the freedom to criticize anyone’s film. In my opinion, one should not make demeaning comments against a woman for any reason. Everyone has to praise womanhood,” Vijay said in the statement. “I request that nobody should share hurtful comments and wrong views about women on social media,” he added.

Vijay was criticized by the media for keeping quiet even as Dhanya Rajendran, an online journalist, was trolled, verbally abused and even allegedly received rape threats from the so-called fans for posting a tweet mocking Vijay’s film Sura that released seven years ago.

As this movie is the immediate project of Vijay after delivering a gigantic hit like ‘Theri’, expectations are soaring high. However, the leaks are doing the insidious damage.

First, the film’s title got leaked on net much before the makers officially announced it. Later, the film’s first look posters surfaced on social media well ahead of the scheduled date, forcing the makers to prepone the official first look launch.

The audio of ‘Bhairava’ was earlier planned to be launched on December 23 but later the plan changed to direct release into the market in the aftermath of Jayalalithaa’s demise. Now, the entire album leaked on net four days ahead of the scheduled 23 Dec release. Makers claimed it a technical glitch, but the damage was already done.

As a result of these leaks, fans of Vijay are worried about the release date, Pongal 2017.

Tamil star hero Vikram, who is known for often experimenting with his films, has divulged his plans to turn director in future.

Vikram has already directed a short film in the backdrop of Chennai floods. Within few years, he has plans to direct, but he has also revealed that he will not act in his directorial. Well it was looking for a while like the controversy had taken its last breath and was about to dissolve into obscurity, at least for the while, but a leading Tamil publication has opened up that can of worms again and now we have the fans and the industry folks divided – some jubilant, some furious and others taking care not to take sides.

The intent behind the question, to crown for whatever reason, the star who will succeed the Superstar Rajinikanth as the sort of unofficial ‘heir to the throne’.

The magazine that thought it fit to bring this up again is Kumudam, and they, after conducting an online poll on the matter with the fans voting for their favourite star, concluded that Vijay was the clear winner and are planning to declare him, quite officially, as the next Superstar.

Now let’s look at the list of angered parties here..

First in line we have the Thala Ajith fans who believe their idol is the man for the title and that the poll was biased. Hence they have stated more or less that they give little or no credence to it, however grand they make it seem.

Next follow the Rajinikanth fans themselves, who believe that there is not now or ever going to be someone who can replace the Enthiran himself. They too, therefore, seem quite upset over the whole thing.

Then we have the rest of the folks within the industry and the fan communities who believe that diplomacy is the key tactic here and that they should refrain from taking sides in this matter – whether it be with the Thala fans or the Ilaya Thalapathy fans.

Of course, there are the fans of other actors making their voices heard as well, across the social media and such, claiming their heroes to be the rightful and deserving candidates for the coveted title.

In any case, Vijay wrote a letter to the magazine thanking them for their generosity. However, the magazine isn’t simply going to let this one go without some fireworks and maybe a few brawls, as they are conducting a grand ceremony in Madurai, where Vijay has an immense fan base, to officially and ceremoniously hand over the title to the actor!

In fact, they want to make this the talk of the town as they have invited celebs from multiple industries including Kollywood, Tollywood, Bollywood and Mollywood to come honour Vijay on this special occasion.

This feels like it’s a powder keg waiting to explode all over the entertainment media for some days to come, and maybe that is what the magazine officials have in mind… a good bit of spotlight never hurts the coin purse.
