With a section of media unhappy with a particular review of Nerkonda Parvai published on Youtube, there is a serious discussion of yellow journalism in Kollywood now. Tamil star hero Siddarth fired on the particular youtube channel and made his stand clear that yellow journalism should not be encouraged.

“#Valaipechu has always been desperate, shameless, uneducated and repulsive yellow journalism. To expect standards from people like them is a waste of time. Strip them of their power. Stop calling them journalists. Real journalists must come together and save their industry first. Let the film fraternity clearly distinguish between journalists with integrity and those who will stoop to any level for clicks. PROs and filmmakers must blacklist defaulting individuals. Gossip culture cannot be stopped. You can, however, fight against it. Change the bad habits!” posted Siddarth on Twitter

Actor Siddharth used to be one of the leading actors in the Telugu film industry with many super hits in hand like Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, Bommarillu, and Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kastam. But after a string of flops, he shifted his focus on to the Tamil film industry.

These days, he is not even doing many films in Tamil. Looks like Siddhu is eyeing to make a comeback in Tollywood. In fact, he himself revealed it the other day. He tweeted, “Please note this promise down… I will at the very least try my best to please my #Telugu audience once again. Give me 18 months prayakshakulaara.”

“I will not let you down. Lot of hard work and great content on the way,” he added. The actor actually looked like to focus on Tollywood with his last film Gruham but suddenly, he changed his plans. Hope he makes a striking comeback with a solid film.

Tamil Hero Siddharth has been one celebrity who has been continuously posting about the updates and mobilizing the people across Chennai during the time of floods. He, who called upon the flood victims to come and stay in his home, is now homeless.

Siddharth whose residence is in Chennai was filled with water past one week. While Siddharth got back from his relief measures, he was shocked to see such scenario. “I freaked out that I had lost my house for the first time… three studios, three cars… And then I felt bad for the middle class who lost so much in just one day,” said the actor.

He permitted that the use of social media during the time of calamity was positive as well as contradictory. “When there was this time of calamity, it wasn’t as bad as the social media saw it,” said Siddharth.

The actor further admitted that ‘This was the first time where the volunteers outnumbered the victims and happy to see that.”

When asked about the Tamil Nadu government’s relief measures in handling the floods, Siddharth said, “We can’t blame anyone for the natural calamity. I don’t think any state government can bring the state to an alright situation within five days.”
