We are already aware that Thala Ajith has remade Hindi courtroom drama Pink into Tamil. Titled as Nerkonda Paarvai, this film is directed by H. Vinoth of Khakhee fame. A few changes have been made in Tamil version in order to suit the sensibilities of the local audience.

The film is now censored and got a U/A certificate from the censor board. It is now all set to release on the 8th of August. Already the theatrical trailer and a couple of songs were released from the film and all of them got a positive response from the audience. Ajith fans are eagerly waiting to see their favorite star in an offbeat role.

Nerkonda Paarvai features Shraddha Srinath in another lead role. Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is playing an important cameo in it. This film marks the debut of Vidya in Tamil cinema. Boney Kapoor has bankrolled this project.

The trailer of this movie was released a few days back and going by it, looks like the makers have made a few changes to the original, to suit the star image of Ajith. A fight sequence, which was not there in the original, was shot for this remake. Now, the makers have come up with a party song.

This EDM track will come during the party sequence, which is the main crux of the film. Again, there was no song in the original. These forced changes are not going well with few movie buffs. There are questions why are the makers putting in these forcible changes in the story which spoils the serious tone of the film. Let us see how well it performs, once it hits the theatres.

Malayalam actor Ajith passed away at a private hospital. Going into details, Ajith has admitted to a hospital ten days ago following health issues. Ajith in a career spread over three decades, has acted in around 500 films, mostly in Malayalam besides a few in Tamil and Hindi.

He started his career with the 1984 hit Paranu Paranu Paranu by ace Malayali director Padmarajan. Ajith was often referred to Malayalam film industry’s permanent villain on account of his role in the hugely successful Irupathaam Noottaandu (1987) starring Mohanlal. Since then he was the first choice for villain roles.

Ajith’s body will be taken to Kollam, where the last rites would be performed later in the day.

After the release of Vedalam for Diwali 2015, Tamil star hero Thala Ajith has undergone a knee surgery and has taken more than six months for recuperation.

It may be noted that Ajith is very passionate about bike racing and about a decade ago, he took a short sabbatical from films to pursue his interest in bike racing. During this process, he has sustained several injuries and his fans were worried.

After the surgery last year, everyone hoped that the actor will bid adieu to such audacious stunts. However, it looks like Ajith can never stay away from bikes and related stunts. The shooting of the actor’s new film under the direction of Siva is currently progressing in Bulgaria. The director has recently released a photo in which Ajith was seen performing a bike stunt. Later, a video from the shooting spot surfaced online.

Although Ajith’s stunts despite surgery are inspiring, they are also making his worried.

It is an open secret that late Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa had a very fondness for Thala Ajith Kumar. Soon after the demise of Jaya, many Tamil media houses even predicted that Ajith would be made her successor, if not immediately in due time for sure.

Keeping it all aside, Ajith definitely has won the hearts of fans of Amma with his noble act. The actor was in Bulgaria, shooting for his new film when Amma was declared dead. As he was thousands of miles away, he could have simply sent a condolence message.

But, Ajith cancelled the film’s shoot and caught the immediate possible flight to Chennai to pay homage to the iron lady. He landed in Chennai in the wee hours of Wednesday and went directly to the burial place of Amma to pay his last tributes.

Later, he also visited the Apollo hospital to pay tributes to Cho Ramaswamy.
