Sensational hero Rana Daggubati is currently busy working on his next film Housefull which is being made in Hindi. The actor is planning to come up with an exciting project in the direction of Venu Udugula. Meanwhile, we have come to know that Rana’s pending project is undergoing much delay.

Sometime back, Rana signed a period drama titled 1945, which is based on the second world war that took place during 1939-45. The film is said to be made in both Telugu and Tamil languages. Regina Cassandra came on board to play the heroine. Satyaraj and Nasser were roped in, to play the key roles.

The makers finished half of the film’s shoot but they did not finish the shoot for the rest of the movie as the producers started facing a financial crisis. The film was supposed to begin in the new year but it seems that there is going to be a further delay.

Rana Daggubati is currently busy with multiple projects in south India. The actor has juggling between the shoot of different movies. After acting in the films like Baahubali, Rudhramadevi, and Ghazi, the actor will now be seen in a war drama.

Right now, Rana is busy with a film titled 1945 which is about Subash Chandra Bose. Rana is playing a soldier in the film. Soon after this, he will be seen in a film titled Haathi Mere Saathi. After completion of this, he will head to participate in the shoot of the film being made on Travancore King Marthanda Varma. After this, he will be seen in a biopic being made on the life of Tiger Nageswara Rao.

After these projects, he will be seen in a war drama which will focus on India and Pakistan relations.

The interesting buzz from the filmnagar reveals that Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh are coming forward for a web series based on the assassination of Prime Minister Rajeev Gandhi. AMR Ramesh is going to direct the series and the announcement regarding the project is going to be out soon.

“The span of the story is very high, and we need more than three hours. This is the reason we wanted to do it as a web series. LTTE is the title confirmed for the project. We will reveal the death of Rajeev Gandhi in the first episode, and then we will shift to the story of LTTE chief Prabhakaran. Venkatesh will be seen as IPS Karthikeyan. Rana plays a key role. We are making the film in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.” revealed Ramesh.

Rana is currently busy with 1945 and Hathi Mere Sathi. Venkatesh is busy with another film in Teja’s direction. More details on the web series will be out soon.

Rana Daggubati is on a roll as he has signed a trilingual with director Prabhu Solomon. The film is titled Hathi Mere Sathi (Hindi; the Tamil and Telugu names are yet to be announced) and is a tribute to the hit Rajesh Khanna film. Prabhu Solomon, whose last outing Thodari had Dhanush in the lead role excels at telling visually-appealing stories. He rose to fame with the critically acclaimed film Mynaa and has since churned out interesting films.

Rana and Prabhu are expected to begin shooting in January 2018 and the buzz is that the film will be ready for release by Diwali 2018. The film will be shot in Thailand and will be produced by Eros International & Trinity Pictures. There have been reports that Rana would be a part of a film where he plays a wildlife conservationist, who specifically works on helping elephants, and this could be it.

On the work front, Rana is busy shooting his film 1945, which is a period film directed by Sathyasiva. Regina Cassandra is the leading lady of the film, which also stars Baahubali actors Sathyaraj and Nasser in pivotal roles.

In another film, he will be portraying the role of Anizham Thirunal Marthanda Varma, who ruled the erstwhile Travancore state. Other than this, Rana’s web series Social is being aired on Viu.

Rana Daggubati is currently very much busy shooting for his new film 1945. On the other side, the actor has confirmed that he is going to come up with yet another historic film now which is based on the life of the king of Travancore.

The film is going to be made with newcomers, and the makers are happy to bring a film on the life of a great character from the history. The pre-production works are currently in progress.
