After the success of Petta, Superstar Rajinikanth has opted to do a film with star director AR Murugadoss. The film is titled as Darbar and Rajini will be seen in the role of a powerful cop in it. Most of the story will take place in Mumbai and hence, the makers are shooting the film currently in the same city.
Nayanthara is acting as the heroine in the movie. Another actress Nivetha Thomas will be seen in the role of Rajini’s daughter in the movie. It also stars Bollywood actor Prateik Babbar in a negative role. Now, it seems that another renowned actor is all set to join the team of Darbar.
He is none other than Malayalam actor Chemban Vinod Jose. He will be seen in a negative role as well, in this movie. This powerful cop drama is being produced under Lyca Productions. Anirudh is composing the music for it.
