Superstar Rajnikanth recently acted in a film titled Kaala directed by PA Ranjith. Dhanush produced the movie under Wunderbar creations banner and Lyca productions distributed the movie in Tamil Nadu and the Telugu states.
There are a lot of reports regarding the collections of the movie and a rumor is that the film has created a new record in Chennai city with huge collections.
But some sections of the media have reported that the movie incurred a loss of 40 Cr rupees. The media reports also stated that Dhanush has come forward to compensate the losses for distributors.
Dhanush has reacted to these rumors and said that Kaala has become a big hit. Dhanush added that the collections are very much satisfactory.
The film has Huma Qureshi, Eeshwari Rao and others in key roles.
