‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth has joined hands with filmmaker A.R. Murugadoss for his next, titled ‘Darbar’ and the film’s first look was released a couple of weeks ago. Reportedly, Nayanatara will be playing the female lead and Rajinikanth will be seen as a cop in the film.
According to the sources, Bollywood actor Prateik Babbar has been roped in for this film and will be essaying the role of antagonist. He has debuted with ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’ and made ‘Ek Deewana Tha’ with Gautham Menon, a remake of ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ and also seen in many films like ‘Dobhi Ghat’. This hero has joined the shoot of the film, which is commencing its first schedule in Mumbai for another week and the shoot is going on a brisk phase.
Lyca Productions is bankrolling this highly-anticipated biggie and Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music.
